I was shopping on December 26 at the 23191 Marter Road Store in Grosse Pointe, MI at approximately 9:23 pm. I bought 3, 24 pack of Ice Mountain water amongst other things. There were no registers open and I had to use the U-Scan. Upon arriving a older female store clerk (unsolicted) approached me to scan my water. I asked her to please wait so that I could figure out how and in what order I wanted to scan things since I was using both my husband and my shopper's cards and two forms of payment (debit and a gift card). I was trying to optimize the fuel points so I needed to be strategic in how I rang my items up. She ignored my requests to wait to ring up my large items. I told her she was confusing things for me and she continually asked me how she was confusing me while simultandously scanning my items. Needless to say I was not able to organize and scan my items like I wanted. I found her to be counter productive in what I was trying to accomplish and I was not happy with the distribution of my fuel points as a result due to her incessant on scanning my large items (which I normally scan myself without the assistance of a clerk). I will also be following up with this store...

BE VERY CAREFUL GETTING GROUND BEEF FROM THE COUNTER! WE HAD A SHARD OF PLASTIC / GLASS INCLUDED IN THE MEAT WITH OUR PURCHASE. WE PURCHASED THIS MEAT ON 12/27/2020 FROM THE MEAT COUNTER. PLEASE BE CAREFUL IF YOU MADE A PURCHASE FROM THIS KROGER ON THAT DAY.
Management does not properly staff facility and needs training in data analytics / data driven decision making. You cannot hope to live up to customer satisfaction by having 2 lanes open at times when historical data shows mid day on a weekend is very busy. Your employees are clearly frustrated because they kept many people waiting at the butcher counter while arguing amongst themselves about a lack of teamwork. One of the poor cashier's was clearly sick with something because she had to hold up a sign that said 'I can't talk today'. I can only imagine the chaos didn't help her condition. Plus, I am not confident someone so ill should be handling customers food. Fix this or my family will be...
Read moreThis used to be my favorite Kroger. It was usually quiet, never too crowded and had everything we needed. Angelo, by far was and is a bright spot of the store as well as all the cashiers and baggers in this store.
However, ever since the new Kroger on 9 mike opened, this store is seriously neglected. Produce selection struggles, it’s a 50/50 shot that we can get salami or turkey from the deli, on top of multiple times standing at the deli or bakery watching workers ignore me while they are having conversations. Forget trying to get anything from the meat counter, they are never open, don’t appear to be staffed and the selection of packaged steak which we get once a week is non existent.
Basically, if I want to get “fresh” products I have no other choice but to go to the 9 mile Kroger which has a terrible layout, but seems to be fully stocked...
