Hands down, this is the absolute cleanest, most well-stocked & organized Hobby Lobby store I have ever stepped foot in! I was able to find exactly what I was looking for quickly, and had MANY different options to choose from! What made this even more pleasant was that the items I needed were on sale 50% off, so I took advantage of that great deal & got some extras! I was also thoroughly impressed with their soap making section! I make and sell my own soaps, so I purchase the supplies I need in bulk from an online supplier. However, as any soapmaker can attest, sometimes a great idea strikes on a whim, or you want to try something right away, but are waiting for an order to arrive, so it's nice to have the option to find what you need locally as well! Other Hobby Lobby stores I've frequented throughout the country (as we're a military fam & move around) have been super disappointing in regards to this section, as usually what you'll find is a bunch of empty spots where merchandise SHOULD be, maybe one or two bottles of sweet almond oil, and a VERY sad looking selection of fragrance oils that makes you feel LUCKY if they even TWO different scents in stock, and even more lucky if the packaging on those hasn't been ripped apart by what appears to have been rabid wolverines! Well, I can honestly say I was a little blown away by this location!! The section was actually FULLY STOCKED (have NEVER seen that before!), offering many different varieties of base oils, butters, essential oils, fragrance oils, MP bases, educational materials & even some complete soap kits for kids, or individuals wanting to make some cute soapy gifts without having to work with sodium hydroxide! The volume at which I produce my soaps will always have me purchasing my supplies online, BUT it's also good to know that if I run out of something in between orders, or want to try something new on a whim, I can head over to my local Hobby Lobby and find exactly what I need in a well organized, well-stocked section! I also very much appreciated that I was asked by 2 different employees during my visit if they could offer assistance or answer any questions, and the young lady who rung up my purchases was also very kind & helpful! All in all, this particular Hobby Lobby store was OUTSTANDING, and I truly hope they keep up that...
Read moreI have been a loyal customer for this location since it opened. For the first time I get directions from an assistant manager that the item specific size I need is never returning, it’s been discontinued. Including online. Then I go online shopping and found it. I thought “oh well maybe they are just pushing out the last bash” and bought an $11.99 items for a total of $23.05 with shipping, pretty pricey too. Next week I return to the store for a different errand and there is my item selling normally and at 50%discount =$6 aprox. When I finally get my shipped overpriced item the store refuses to return in full, just at $6, even when this week is at regular price $11.99. I call the customer service center and they ask me to pay to ship it back. How many times is HL going to screw the customer? Very, very, very disappointed with the overall policy and process, but above all never asking anything else in store and believe it. I could have been dishonest and break the item to return in full, but honesty nowadays is a very valuable virtue I decide I’m keeping. I love HL and management, but this miscommunication between what the ordering stock pad says, what is actually happening with the item and what little customer service can do for you will impact your most loyal clients deeply. I’m on chemo and disability, not to be throwing money randomly. This policy needs to be revised and consider accountable certain situations on the store end, not the customer. Not my fault. Sad sad, other than this I love it, but never buying online from them again and careeeefully...
Read moreWent here today since I was in the area and away from my normal Hobby Lobby location. This location didn't have most of the items that I was looking for. There seemed to be a lack of staff or any sort of customer service. For what it seemed to be a slow business day, the place was pretty much a ghost town and didn't have any on floor staff besides the two cashiers at the front. The two cashiers were very slow for only have 3 groups of customers at check out in total. One of the cashiers (which actually had rung me up) was pretty rude and had a pretty poor attitude when I asked a question about the line situation. I was originally in a different line and was waiting on the guest in front of me to finish with her purchase. The other cashier asked the guest behind me to move into her line to get rung up. After they were done, she then asked me to go into her line since the guest that was in front of me was still not done with her purchase. I asked the cashier why were the guest behind me rung up before I was and that i was waiting before them. She responded with a "You didn't move when i told you to and they moved first to the line". In which i responded " you looked straight at them and pointed at them to go into your line". At that point the cashier kept quiet, finished the transaction and walked away with out even saying anything else. Staff needs to be trained to be a little more courteous to the guest...
