Perfect Patio Furniture — Local services in Saint George

I recently called Patio Furniture regarding an umbrella we had purchased. We have used it approximately 4-5 times, always storing it indoors when not in use. Unfortunately, the plastic piece that clicks into place to keep the top from tilting, or allow it to tilt, broke quite soon after purchasing. We thought we would be able to make due, but then the pole bent completely in half and the whole umbrella tipped over, nearly hitting someone. There was no strong wind gust, only a light breeze since we will never put the umbrellas up if it was windy. In comparison, the other two umbrellas purchases from Patio Furniture were completely fine, sturdy, and were not moving at all with how light of a breeze it was.

I immediately called Patio Furniture about this poor construction and the apparent design flaws of this umbrella. The call was unpleasant and caught me off guard with how unhelpful the woman was who I spoke with. I was essentially told that because it was an umbrella we had bought on sale, we could expect a lesser quality. I explained that, regardless of the purchase price, this appeared to be a defective umbrella. In addition, I inquired that if they expected the product to fail and last for such a short period of time and be unable to be used outside, why are they selling it customers? I was willing to just exchange the umbrella and try another, no money back, or even just to get a new pole. I was told there was nothing she would be able to do other than to sell me another umbrella. There was no attempt at resolution, other than for me to pay fully for another junk umbrella that would break immediately. I was caught off guard to have someone tell me that these umbrellas were expected to be a lesser quality, it was frustrating to have bought a product that failed and was unusable after a short period to time with no help from the business who sold it to us and who would not back up what they are selling from their store.

Conversely, I would like to mention the amazing experience we had previously had with Kevin and purchasing a whole patio set, two other umbrellas, and an outdoor rug. Kevin was helpful, courteous, efficient, and reliable with setting up delivery and assisting us with selections and the purchase. We have not had issues with the other purchases we have made at all.

Very friendly and provide top notch customer service.

I did not read reviews before I went shopping here. I choose this store because I was wanting some outdoor furnature by Polywood and they were listed as a supplier. My husband and I went in and looked at all they had to offer. We were not going to buy that day but the guy was so helpful we ended up picking out our set and setting up a deivery time. They offered to assemble and deliver for $50 at that time, and I thought that sounded like a great deal. (Also, I did check and the online price that Polywood was quoting to sell directly to me was more than the one the store quoted and that didn't include the shipping fee they would charge me and I would have to assemble.)

We set up the delivery and after the delivery people left I notice that they had tightened a few screws too tightly where they started to poke through the side where your back rests. I called the store and the guy jumped on setting up a replacement for the two problem chairs. They came out and swapped for new chairs. Not a bad attitude in the whole bunch, even when I called with problems.

I was very impressed with this place! We came here on a whim and we are so glad we did. First of all, everything was so clean that I thought they had just opened the location. When I asked them how long they've been in this location they said 2 years! I told them I was surprised because the store was so incredibly clean. Even the bathroom was super clean.

There is absolutely no sales pressure! I was expected to be followed around by someone, but we were greeted with a smile and were left to browse on our own. They kept an eye on us from a distance though, and somehow they knew whenever we had questions, because they'd come over and answer them literally before we asked! Psychics?

We got an incredible deal and bought a patio set. Some stuff there was pretty pricy, but there are also affordable options too. We even got free delivery. It was delivered yesterday and the guys that delivered it were even a few minutes early and offered to stage the furniture.
