Postianoâs Italian Kitchen & Wine Bar â A Perfect Slice of Italy for Date Night Date nights donât get much better than this. Postianos Italian Kitchen & Wine Bar, the newest addition to our local dining scene, offers a romantic and refined experience with just the right amount of Italian charm. From start to finish, our evening felt like a quick getaway to Tuscanyâwithout leaving town. Atmosphere:â¨Warm, inviting, and softly lit, Postianos is made for date nights. The interior blends rustic Italian elegance with modern touches, creating a cozy-yet-sophisticated vibe. Whether you're seated at a candlelit table or by the bar, the ambiance encourages lingering. Food & Drinks:â¨We kicked off the evening with the bread service, which comes with an array of house-made saucesâeach one unique and packed with flavor. It was a simple start, but an instant highlight. Next came the bruschetta, and honestly, it was to die for. Perfectly toasted bread, fresh tomatoes, basil, and just the right drizzle of balsamicâit hit every note. For the main course, I had the filet medallions, which surprised me with a delightful spicy kick that elevated the richness of the meat. My husband opted for one of their signature pastasârich, flavorful, and authentically Italian. Both dishes were comforting yet elegant, and beautifully presented. The drink pairings? A refreshing lemon martini for me and a crisp mojito for himâboth balanced and bright, complementing the food without overpowering it. We wrapped up with a pistachio dessert that was subtly sweet and delicately nuttyâan ideal finish to the meal. Service:â¨Attentive without being intrusive, our server knew the menu well and made great recommendations. The pacing of the meal was just rightânever rushed, but never waiting too long. Final Thoughts:â¨Postianos delivers a truly special night out. With standout dishes, carefully crafted cocktails, and an atmosphere designed for connection, itâs the kind of place youâll want to return to again and againâespecially when you're looking to...
Read moreHow can a restaurant call itself âFine Diningâ when it doesnât even have a simple Reservation system? Allowing customers to make reservations is not just a convenience for the customer. It also allows the restaurant to organize, and avoid jamming 15 people into a 5âx5â waiting area. After hearing the hype about this place, my wife and I decided to try this so called Fine Dining restaurant for her birthday. Of course, with no reservation, we drove clear across the valley in 107 degrees, only to be told it would be at least a 45 minute wait at 4:30 on Saturday. We chose not to stand like a pack of sardines in the waiting area, and wait in the car. Right off the bat, this gave us the impression of an Applebeeâs, or for the old timers, Kenny Rogerâs Chicken. The only thing missing was a beeper to let us know they were ready for us. After waiting in the car for 30 minutes, we decided no matter how the restaurant was, it wasnât worth our time and money. We left, and went to a true Fine Dining restaurant, which not only took our reservation on the way to the restaurant, but also had our table ready as soon as we arrived. Positanoâs may be owned and operated by âexperiencedâ people, but they sure are running it amateurishly. At this rate, by the time the hype dies down, itâll be just another empty restaurant, trying to compete with other has beens. And also, for Peteâs sake, pay a kid a few bucks and create a website for your so called Fine Dining restaurant. Seriously, itâs 2025! Even the local Mom&Pop owned pizza joints have a websiteâŚ.
Fine dining!...

Ethics of restaurant owners reviewing their own establishment It is generally considered unethical and, in many cases, illegal for restaurant owners (or their employees, family members, etc.) to post reviews for their own restaurants. Why it's unethical and prohibited
Deception and Misrepresentation: Online reviews are meant to be unbiased and objective accounts of actual customer experiences. Owners reviewing their own business are inherently biased and are misrepresenting themselves as ordinary customers, which deceives potential diners.
Conflict of Interest: Review platforms like Google and Yelp explicitly prohibit owners and employees from reviewing their own businesses because it creates a clear conflict of interest and compromises the integrity of their platforms.
Undermines Consumer Trust: Fake reviews, including those posted by owners, erode consumer trust in the authenticity and reliability of online review systems. Studies show that if consumers discover a review is fake, 54% will never return to that company.
Violates Legal Regulations: The Federal Trade Commission (FTC) considers fake reviews a form of deceptive advertising and has implemented regulations to ban them. Violations can result in hefty fines...
