J.Dawgs — Restaurant in Saint George

Food was ok. Atmosphere was decent, except for the fact we had to wipe off our own table. The worst thing was their serving process. Absolutely terrible! I stepped out of line for what apparently was the food service counter. Two people were standing there then waiting for their dogs, so I took my drink and fries to a table. When I get back in line, there are now four other people in line. I had to wait for each of them to get their dogs. Mine and two people in front of me ordered Polish dogs, and those seemed to come slowly off grill one at a time (in other words, we each had to wait until our dog was ready).. My Friend was nearly done with his meal when I finally sat down with him. It's first come first served, but NOT first ordered first served. The other issue is the condiments (which they put on per your request) are hidden behind the flipped up stainless steel hood, so you can't see what they have. You have to guess! Pretty miserable experience, and I can't think of a reason to try again unless I want to stand around waiting to grab a hot dog before someone...

The hot dog itself was delicious. The bun and special sauce hit the spot! A couple pieces of constructive feedback:

Decide whether or not your onions are grilled or raw. Half of ours were grilled and the other half was not. Consistency is key! Don’t put a quarter of a pickle on a hotdog. First it is as thick as the hot dog and it over powers it. Second, it isn’t even long enough to cover the entire hot dog! If you are going to have pickles as a topping, there needs to be the right amount of pickle in every bite.

Update: I went back today and the hot dog was all shriveled up and old and the bun was stale. I asked them to remake it, and they gave me a slightly less cooked hot dog, with even harder bread. It crumbled when I took a bite. They need to have a real adult supervising the kids making the food at...

Let me start by saying, J Dawgs has amazing food, but holy crap the service here is terrible. We were in the drive through…with no cars in front of us. The asked us to hang on a minute to order, 10 minutes later they asked what we wanted. It took 15 minutes of us at the window for us to get our order, which was 2 hot dogs, 2 fries, and 2 drinks. They didn’t give us straws, and didn’t give us the condiments was asked for with our fries. When she handed me the drink, it was visibly dripping all over my hand and clothes, I asked for a napkin as she watched it drip on my clothes, and she told me there was a napkin under my food in the box.
