Duck Donuts — Restaurant in Saint George

Stopped in expecting a typical donut shop. Saw no donuts. Counter guy said they are made to order. Put off with yet another potential unwanted change in life, I begrudgingly ordered 12 from the menu. 5 - 10 minutes later I was presented with box and shown the donuts. As if I was shopping at Tiffany's for jewelry. I was a somewhat impressed with that. Nice, professional touch. I covered the box and left. Arrived home with the box to six people. We dug through the still warm cakes and chose. We almost died when we finally tasted them. This is better than buying fresh pastries in Paris or Milan. My friend in Vegas who makes pastries for casino special events can't compete with these. No comparison. I will never be able to eat another donut from someplace else. Brilliant idea! The peach strudel ones need to be on everyone's bucket list. Something you should experience before you die. I noticed someone write here the donuts were small. They are medium to me. I have seen larger donuts and they were full of air. Once you bite into them nothing is there. These have a texture like pound cake. No inflated air holes. Much more donut. Much better texture. No comparison to those big donuts with nothing inside but air once you bite into them. You are definitely getting a bigger bang for your buck with these. Finishing one off all at once isn't...

They make the same donut with different toppings. They are freshly made when you order them which means they are hot and fresh. My problem with them is that they are really small compared to donuts from any other donut place and they are really expensive. We paid around $23 for 12 small donuts and none filled. I’m used to buying 12 cream and other filled or other specialty large donut for $16 @ Lins. They don’t have any filled donut which is what our family likes. They are different dough than other places which makes it interesting. The dough is actually pretty good. No gluten free options. I just don’t like their options and price enough to get them again. Glazes and topping are interesting, but we didn’t necessarily “love” any of them. I can’t give them a 5 because we didn’t really love any of them and they are tiny, but they are at least a...

I didn't even try the food after waiting in line for 20 min I went up to order 8 doughnuts to be told the total wld be over 20 bucks a hald dozen says it 14, when i expressed my concern over being charged 6 dollars more for 2 donuts i was told that a half dozen is six donuts, um not stupid i know what a half dozen is. I can't fathom why a regular glazed wld cost 3 bucks per donut. I didnt want sprinkles or a drizzle just a regular glazed donut.
