Knee surgery in 14 hours and they close the drive-thru. I try calling and no service, try knocking and they lower the blinds (in front of me!). Tried honking and they ignore me. I even yelled through the window that I couldn't walk.. Crickets!! Now a line has formed and no one is responding! There are exceptions when someone can't walk and you're preventing them from relief! Update; after half an hour they finally answered the phone, and REFUSED to give me my rx. Literally refused, and told me they wouldn't open the window,, even if I couldn't walk!! Told me to drive 40 minutes back home and get somebody to come in. They close in 2 hours, even if I could do that. I need this rx for after surgery TOMORROW MORNING! After an hour of waiting and trying to call back (12 cars came and left with their meds before I got served!) I finally reminded them of their advertised "curbside service". THAT they would honour! The walk up line is literally 5 feet from the drive-up window, but they'll send somebody all the way out front to bring me the rx! This was obviously a stubborn mandate from a sociopath who clearly has no business dealing with sick patients. A lack of empathy should NEVER be around patients! Karma is deserved here! I wasted a whole hour I needed for other chores BEFORE my surgery that didn't get done, because everybody else deserved assistance,...
Read moreUpdate: 8/28/25 I have 2 of three clients who kept getting medicines late monthly, usually about 3 days. Medicine they rely on.
The people can't speak up for themselves so hear it is again. Kinney is late on too many things. Nothing has changed. They don't deserve your business.
Many convos with corporate and the still are far below par.
Updated 1/10/25 I filed myriad complaints. Then they delivered my meds to a different person violating my HIPAA and Kinney suffered no repercussions.
Updated 9/20/24:
They have been consistently late by 5-7 days late getting medication I need, medicine that makes me ill when I don't have it. This happens once a month like clockwork.
Today I was lied to about the pharmacy trying to get a hold of me to alert me to the situation. My call logs show no such call.
The piece de resistance is being told by a pharmacist that I need to take more personal responsibility for getting my medicine. She clearly understands I do not have any input to getting my prior authorization taken care of, but tells me to take more personal responsibility for myself. I love being talked down to and told that it is my fault someone didn't do their job. I am so done. Time to try Genoa. This is disgusting.
Wish I could review using negative numbers.
Way to destroy all competitors and do a sub par job once you have no real...
Read moreHow does one report a problem, as regards receiving the final Covid booster shot at greedy Kinney Drugs of St. Johnsbury--this at a cost of a whopping $190? Don't shop there unless it's the last pharmacy on Earth. When l went in person LAST OCTOBER to set up an appointment, l was told this was impossible because the older vaccines/boosters had not been used and this would have to occur before any new batches arrived, so no way to book an appointment. At that time, l was NOT INFORMED about time-frames for expiration of existing Covid vaccination services, or informed that there would, in future, be a charge. This is a sneaky bit of business on the part of Kinney. I was told l could go online today and to print out a voucher that would cover the cost of the shot. How many seniors--like me-- do not have a fully-equipped office in their home consisting of a computer, a printer and God knows what else, then having to return to set up yet another appointment and finally , return again for yet another to get a single, simple shot and not go broke in...
