Nice visit to Ace Hardware. Always very helpful. Their replacement Key Fobs though are way, way over priced. I needed a new "clicker" and they wanted over 80.00 bucks for an F150 Pickup. They're Duracell brand, but big whoop. Got a great one on Amazon for exactly $7.95 and no tax, free next day shipping. The guy was nice and offered free set up. I declined and said I think I can turn the ignition on and off 8 times till vehicle enters key fob setup mode. And press my new and old key fob button. ( this is a similar set up for a lot of vehicles) but not to dis Ace because some do require that you plug a device into that slot nobody knows what's for underneath your driver side Dash. I think it's for Diagnostics. You know, when your check engine light comes on. And just a bit of trivia regarding the check engine light, the number one reason a check engine light comes on is because your gas cap is not securely fastened.
