Droolin Moose — Local services in Saint Louis Park

Me and my family walked in to the St. Louis Part location at around 1pm. Every other time that I have been to Droolin Moose I have had a wonderful time. We live a bit of a drive away, so we always plan when we want to go and always buy at least one cup of chocolates. Today however, the second that we walked into the shop, we were age checked by the older woman working there. We are all 20 years old. She then told us that we look young, and that if we are 15 years old or younger that we cannot be in the store without an adult. Again, we told her that we are all 20, and carried on. After looking around the store and trying two of the samples, she then asked us if we were going to “buy anything, or just eat all of the samples”. This put a very sour taste in my mouth. Every time we go to Droolin Moose, we always buy something after sampling. The chocolate is delicious, but it is expensive. In my opinion it is worth the price, but we always sample to make sure that we are getting something that we all like after spending ~$20 for one cup of chocolates. The woman at the register was leaning over the counter and blatantly staring at us the whole time we were in the store, making us feel very uncomfortable and unwelcome. This is a small business located in St. Louis Park, MN. It's just off Highway 100, across from the Park Nicollet Specialty Center.

I've tasted their chocolate before (as a gift), and it's so delicious. This was the first time I've been in the store. It is a quaint, comfortable, clean, and beautiful location. The employee inside was very helpful and friendly.

In addition to the physical store, they do a ton of online orders, which works well if you are shipping it to family, friends, or associates out of state.

Headed to half-priced books when we saw the chocolate sign hanging down the walkway. Very glad we stopped over! The person on staff was very friendly and came over straight away to explain how the store works, was knowledgeable and answered our few questions. Loved that we could try samples of each type before buying.
