20210815 sunday 932pm immense appreciation and cheers to the staff on site at chipotle. Utter shock and aww at the corporate elite, who take online orders that far exceed the production capabilities of the staff and location. Pickup time was unreasonable and did not take into consideration the status of the restaurant at time order was placed who were 1 hour behind schedule.
915pm order placed, 930 pickup. People waiting since 840pm for their 820 pickup. It is now 932pm. Bags on a filled pickup shelf say 730pm at the latest. Entire half of lobby filled with people who are staring at their phones.
10pm they just asked 20 plus people to get in a line for their orders. Estimate that will be 40 minutes because it was alread 3 deep, 5 people wide. Store closing at 10pm. Their intention is to make the orders from scratch again. Looks like a lot of food on the shelf is wasted and a lot of people are working late, hope they did not have plans for time with family and friends. Took 2 steps to hand the staff a few twenties for appreciation and to say let me order go, ill deal with it online. but did not want to start a toilet paper panic mob at the store, i will see you again. This was my 2nd order at chipotle in 2021. Good times!

First, I enjoy chipotle. I live near this place and would like to go here a few times a month instead of making food at home.
This is the 3rd time in a row at this Chipotle location where they did not have hard shell tacos. the 1st time it was fine, they were almost done making them so I waited. The 2nd time the person had me wait, half of my time spent waiting was for the person to actually start making the hardshell tacos. lots of talking and socializing goin on behind the counter here. after waiting for the product to be made, I again had to wait for the hand off to the register person to finish her chit chat with another co-worker. This 3rd and final time, the store was out of hard shell tacos, they walked over and started chatting with a co-worker. when 4 more customers arrived they asked if i wanted soft tacos or a burrito. I said no thank you and I walked out. Hard shell tacos only, nam sayin ;)
Points: if you are out or running out of something, order or make more. Do not wait until a customer requests the product.
If a person is waiting for over 10min, offer them something, say something.

yesterday I ordered food and before I could pick it up they spontaneously closed. They refused to talk to any customers and took our money. That was fine because in my past I know I had been directed to their website to receive a refund when they ran out of ingredients for my food. However, they lied. This location turned OFF the ability to receive refunds online. Today I went in expecting to receive either the meal or a refund because as I drove by I saw they were clearly open (PACKED with customers, clearly not following COVID policies). Nope. They refused. The owner was even there to tell me “go online” and when I told him that the online site sent me in for my refund, he said I was lying. He refused to help me and sent me away.
last week I ordered my pick up at 4:41, to be picked up at 5pm. I arrived at 5:12 surprised it wasn’t there.. only to eventually find they were 45 minutes behind. I had to wait there for 45 minutes for food I ordered 19 minutes ahead of time for and arrived 12 minutes Pat, for.
the above late incident happened the week prior but it was only 20 minutes late. Still quite frustrating. I could go to a decent sit down restaurant, order a meal, they cook it from scratch and bring to my table in that same amount of time

Read moreI am unsure why I keep coming to this Chipotle. Probably because I am in a pinch for a quick meal and don't want fast food burgers or sandwiches in the area. The only thing this Chipotle has going for them is the consistency of flavor in their food... assuming they have it.
The problems I have with location:
I don't know if the store is understaffed or what, but for at least the last couple of years, the store is always filthy. Food all over the floor and workstations, tables are sticky, and garbage all over the lemonade and utensils area. I would never dine in at this location.
The other common problem this location is that they are always running out of items. Particularly chips and guacamole. And because I order through their app and pay for it on the app, I won't know that they are out of anything until you get there to pick up your order.
On top of that, they can't help you at the store to get a refund for the items you paid for and didn't receive. You have to go through their app, which isn't clear where to go. You visit their bot, Pepper, and it is worthless if you can't get a hold of anyone online. You have to wait for a customer service person to email you. So now they hold your money for an extended amount of time, not knowing when you will get your refund. Just frustrating.
My advice to anyone who visits this Chipotle is to not dine in and don't order from their app. You're gambling on whether you are going to get everything you ordered and pay for on the app. It is a shame that Chipotle has gotten to this level at this store. We all know they aren't meeting the Chipotle standards for this...
