Working with the entire Slamhammer crew was amazing. I coach a robotics team, and we were interested in improving our "pit" setup. There are several teams out there who have moved to road cases to simplify their competition experience, and we approached Slamhammer initially with a "can you build us these exact things" request, providing CAD drawings and everything. When we got started woking with Cam and his crew, they slowed us down a bit, and asked us what exactly we were doing and what we wanted to accomplish, as the whole robotics competition thing was new to them. I credit Cam and Slamhammer for asking questions like this and partnering with us to design and create the road cases that would fit all our needs. We met several times to discuss pros and cons of design decisions, and I was amazed by their skill, intuition, curiosity, forward thinking, and willingness to work with us to create the perfect set of road cases for our team. We ended up starting with our CAD drawings and editing them significantly throughout the design process. What they have created is significantly more well thought through than what we started with, and it accomplishes much more than we had hoped, anticipated or even dreamed. In the end, we walked away with three custom road cases that will simplify our lives significantly as we move into and out of competition, as well as our lives during the competition. We have material storage, work surfaces, paths to wire under cabinet lighting, quick setup/breakdown, and mobility. They were true partners throughout the process, and really, I cannot recommend them highly enough. Our only gripe is that we can't rate 10 stars! The Slamhammer crew knocks it out of the park, both on the event production side and the road case side. The tech and hands for our recent show were all incredible, attentive, professional, organized, and provided some of the best sound we have ever had for a show.
