Big Steer Meats — Local services in Saint Paul

Where do I start? The Dago meat is awesome, I get it by the box. Double smoked Bacon 🤤 i get the entire slab cut 3/8" thick. Even their pizzas are tasty. The Al Capnoe is absolutely mouth watering, their Porketta Pork chops are a Must Eat. Even the Dog bones smell like they're Double smoked... Great friendly "Old School Service". I walk in all Excited & walk out with the feeling of "Can't wait to get home to cook something" if this review app had 10 stars I'd give'em 10 stars. I won't say that I'll be back soon because this is my place to get the Quality that I want at a fare price, so why would I go...

I talked with Charlie at Big Steer Meats about meat for a fundraiser I was helping organize. He was more than helpful and we bought beef, bacon, and chicken. Everyone who had the Frybread Tacos, Juicy Lucy's with infused Bacon, and the Chicken Wild Rice Soup were more than pleased.

When I went to pick up my order I was happily surprised by the courtesy and friendliness of the staff and how clean the store was. I cannot recommend Big Steer Meats enough. They have my business for many, many more years!

Customer- how much did you say that weighed?

Employee- it's a quarter-pound like you asked.

Customer- No I'm sorry I asked for a fourth pound.

Employee- Yes ma'am I weighed it it's right at a quarter pound.

Customer- No sir, I asked for a quarter pound (more sternly).

Employee- Yes ma'am I'll weigh it again and wrap it for you.

He put it back on the scale

Employee- Ok ma'am it's a fourth pound for you
