The place was nice it really wasn't packed which was a good thing there was only one server available and she was a little irritable and short with us and the food was good I kind of felt bad for the server because I noticed she was the only one working inside and out. My sister-in-law, who is visiting from out of town was with us and did not like the lady's attitude at all off the top so when we got the bill and the gratuity was automatically included in the bill my sister-in-law objects very loudly so the whole place heard that she did not want to pay her tip and the server was pretty defensive when my sister and I said I will not pay for bad service so she did say something to defend herself however in my opinion she did not need to defend herself because like I said she was the only server the staff asked the other two of us did we want to revise our bills to eliminate the tip which we did not. My sister-in-law was invited to not come back which I thought was a little unhospitable because they did not view her point of view they were sticking up for their employee which is team spirit but needless to say I ended up losing my eyeglasses that night and I was scared to go back to there to find them and luckily when I found them they were not there because I did not think that would go over very well! I would go back to this place but I would go without my sister-in-law which I do love lol with her crazy self! Here's an extra tip for the lady server even when you're tired and don't have any coworkers to back you up on the floor it pays to just have a little patience we and take a little bit more time because we had to ask for drinks three times and ask for the bill three times before she responded I'm not going to go into the complaints my sister-in-law had those were two simple things that I thought would have changed her attitude and would have gotten a tip out of her besides the dismissiveness which was probably attributed to trying this service all the other tables inside and outside so I do understand and next time maybe you're supporting staff could show up for work when they're scheduled and then you won't be overburdened which I think is probably the case which is why I gave you a tip because you were overworked and underpaid and I understand that and I can empathize so have a wonderful day and keep making that good food I did...
Read moreIf getting delivery on like Uber eats I would suggest calling the restaurant especially if you need condiments, utensils, napkins etc. I had my order delivered to a hotel because Iâm on a business trip and it did not come with napkins or utensils color me surprise especially when I got ribs!
I got the rib combo which comes with ribs (I did half buffalo wings) Mac and cheese and slaw. I did a sub salad and it didnât give me the option to select a dressing in Uber eats. I truly hope the restaurant/UE fixes this as I put that I wanted raspberry vinaigrette in the additional items section of UE and it doesnât even show up on my receipt so I assume the restaurant didnât see it. Now I have a salad that I probably wonât eat which of course cost extra because thereâs no dressing.
The ranch was like 50 cents for the wings I believe which I couldnât care less about the price. The cup was huge and itâs delicious which was great. It comes with bread which I canât really eat due to food restrictions (I know tragic) but I had a nibble. Itâs toasted on one side which is fairly common at most places. It seems quite buttery and tasty.
The ribs were eh. They were a bit dry and not very juicy. Definitely not enough sauce and could stand to be seasoned. The sweet bourbon sauce on the ribs could have been spared but it is tasty. I would buy the sauce by itself.
The Mac and cheese was not what I was expecting. Almost like Panera where itâs thick like queso but almost like soup and itâs white. It was freaking delicious!!! Honestly the best part of the meal. I was so pleasantly surprised. Itâs good enough where I would definitely try this place again but maybe in person next time. Overall it wasnât a total miss.
Update: the wings I ordered extra wet which Iâm glad I did as I donât know that they would have been as saucy. I got the less done wings instead of fried hard based on another review. The wings lack flavor like maybe they only use salt and pepper if that. Still very edible. As a Bariatric patient Iâm so use to eating because I need to and not necessarily enjoying food so this wasnât too far...
Read moreIn response to your response... I was sitting directly at the bar. There was no signs posted on the bar countertop and there was non posted above the bar. I looked around before I ordered. Again, word of mouth upon ordering would've been just fine. And by the way, the rest of the chicken didnt get ate. It was fried too hard.
I don't usually come here, but came for the wings. Service was really slow. The price upcharge for the wings are not posted on the menu and nowhere near the bar area. Wasnt even told by the bartender. But you know where it was posted? On the door... the one security stands in front of! They opened the door for me, to let me in, so of course I coudnt see it! So didnt find out I was paying $35 for 24 drums and flats til I got the bill! On top of that, the chicken wasnt all that great. I thought it would be crispy with a crust, but nope. It was cripsy, probably too crispy, but not to my liking. Tried to eat the ones that looked fried too hard before I went to sleep. Woke up trying to eat some more and realized my gums were hurting from chewing on the ones from last night. Now this was about 3 days ago... I am still trying to eat or find someone to eat my order of $35 wings! Still got about 12 left. Oh, the drinks were decent. But if you want GOOD, WHOLE chicken wings, I'd recommend Tin Cups....
