Went in on September 15th to repair cracked I Phone screen. was pretty excited to get it repaired and seemed as if they did a good job. Was very quick also.... After about 2 days, I noticed the screen was not flush with the phone itself. I could tell the screen was not exactly flush with border of the phone itself due to the noise the screen made when touching the screen. The next day, I saw that there was a little crack forming in the ear slit at the top of the phone. I have not dropped the phone at all. As a matter of fact I barely used the phone as I was traveling and this phone was not my primary phone at the time. After a couple of days,, the crack increased until the phone could not be used. I called World of Wireless, and asked if there is any warranty on the work/screen that they did to my phone. The agent that I spoke with said def bring it in and they would take a look. The next day I bring phone in and the agents, stated that there is nothing they could do because the phone was physically damaged and they would not be able to look at phone until day later. Well, yeah its "physically damaged", that's why I have an issue....This phone was never dropped after the fix. Seems to have just cracked by itself... after the fix. The lack of help very frustrating for a customer who has already paid for the service. My experience... fast service, poor glass quality, poor customer service, did not want to admit that there was a flaw with the fixed screen, hence the lack of wanting to look at screen after the initial fix. I am advising my friends who have cell phones (everybody) to not use this company and will post this msg on all social media channels that I have reach....
Update: 19 mins after posting this msg, a manager from university store reached out and offered to replace screen under a warranty. He also explained some possible explanation as to why phone was not flush. I've now had the phone 2 days and all seems well. Crossing fingers. I thought that the manager was responsive and helpful in finding...
Read moreWorld of Wireless has the worst customer service. My son took his phone to be repaired just the camera lens when we got the phone back the camera quality which had no problem before we went no has no focus a job that was supposed to take maybe an hour took 5 and then to top it off the technician who was working on the phone would not even step from behind the back to speak with me a customer (WOW). Now let's talk about the Store Manager Demetrius and his son who has no communication skills and would not have a job their if his father was not the manager. The first time I came in with my son Demetrius did not even walk to the front counter to address like customer he stood at the tech counter and yelled to us from the back room well we will need more time if you want this fixed right because the repair just was awful, the second time we came back his son Detmetri could not form a intelligent sentence as to why I could not get even simple customer service while he sat at the front counter and told me he will have to call his Dad who then proceeded to tell me my son's phone would have to be reset and the will need another 45-hour to fix because the initial job was done in a rush so I said no. Now on Saturday two days later why did the lens fall out the back of the phone we call on Sunday and was told we have to wait for the manager to get in for them to fix this very very poor job we paid for then had to call twice Monday and still did not get any good customer service. My advice to anyone who needs repairs DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY AND GO TO THIS STORE. From the manager to the technician you will not get respect, customer service or quality work but you will get ripped of and...
