Korte's Super Market Inc — Local services in Saint Paul

We live just a few blocks away from Korte's, so it is very convenient for us to ship packages from their USPS service. However, lately the customer service, specifically from Rick (who I found out today is actually a Manager), has been down right degrading. I ship packages almost on a weekly basis there, but today when I attempted to ship an International package Rick sharply replied to me they they didn't do those anymore, so I asked why, since I had just shipped one the other day, he rudely said that he won't do it now because he was too busy in the deli. I asked if Beth could do it, and he said she was too busy with more important things (she was standing right next to us briefly talking to another customer). I'm fine if the issue is just that you're busy and you ask me to wait, but don't lie to the customer and say you don't do something just because you don't want to.

Luckily for Korte's one of their cashiers overheard Rick's extremely rude behavior and said she could help me -- THANK YOU, Charlotte! Beth eventually came over to assist as well. If it wasn't for the young people at Korte's, who actually Care about the customer, I would shop elsewhere, just because of Rick's bad attitude.

Rick, if you don't want to provide a service, that the customer pays for, don't falsely...

I went to Korte's for the first time yesterday around 1:00 pm CST. And let me tell you something-- my experience at Korte's fine foods was truly magical. The selection at Korte's is divine. The meat section of the store has a fragrant aroma comparable only to the smell of the cherry blossoms of Tokyo. The moment I wandered into that enchanting marketplace, I knew it was where I wanted to die. Apart from the wonderful food of this food haven, the service was OUTSTANDING--- friendly and helpful employees, cute baggers, and authentic managers. I can say without doubt that Korte's is my grocer of choice, forever and always.

A true old school grocer! This was such a treat to find this place, even though I have lived in the Twin Cities all my life. This small independent store has everything one could want at decent prices. Their selection of meat, and full service deli will help deliver the full grocery experience one could need. Very clean for the age of the building, and the staff was friendly and helpful. Their are a variety of Minnesota made products in this store which was a wonderful added bonus! Keep up...
