Fort Leonard Wood Main Exchange — Local services in Saint Robert

This place is extremely unprofessional. You would think after walking into that store on the 100th time, they would be done lurking and spying on you like you stole something, it’s why I have to leave any bag I’ve had at the front because these civilians are annoying and persistently profiling, even had a guy check a black bag I purchased before I walked out. Not just that, the workers at the customer service desk are miserable and need to retire or maybe fix their home lives, just miserable and pathetic. Tried to deny me a return on cologne that I bought the day before and said I used too much of it ? Asked me “what am I wearing currently on myself” and then said the bottle was too used up, complained that they’ll have to reduce the price like they own the damn place, even had the nerve to try and make sense as to why I went with a different brand of cologne. Who hired these ? Truly...

04/27/2025 @15:10. I'd like to extend a HUGE "Thanks, again!!" to (Mr.) "Troy", a stellar member of the Staff at the Base Main Exchange at Ft. Leonard Wood Main Store (MO).

He assisted me with price-checking some Clearance item purchases at the Self Service Checkout at the Main Exchange and even scanned all my purchases into the Self-Service Checkout Register for me!! What A Customer Service focused Team member!

Even more memorable was that it was some type of Trainee Base Liberty Day and uniformed Trainees were there shopping and dining in the Food Court by the dozens! He surely had his hands full guiding and assisting THEM and for him to extend that courtesy to ME, spoke VOLUMES!

He'll probably say, "I was just doing my job", but that's usually what ALL Superheroes say!

The FLW PX customer service associates in the Electronics department were wonderful and very helpful. I was looking for a specific item in electronics, and initially felt embarrassed that I forgot the name of the item. The associates who helped me were very kind and reassured me that it was ok. They very politely and respectfully asked me to describe the item and what it does. After my description, they both immediately knew exactly what I was referring to and walked me over to my options.
