Post Pawn Store — Local services in Saint Robert

They weren’t very welcoming, when I was able to get their attention they asked me how much I was wanting to loan and they gave me the exact amount. They informed me the finance charge would be $100 added which is understandable; However, they had told me payments were due by the 1st of each month and even the receipt stated the same thing. I made two payments “on time” (or so I thought)and today would of been my my 3rd, I knew I was paying late so I expected there to be a little fee but when I asked how much it would be they notify me that the total was now $200 more than what I originally borrowed! When I said how after 2 payments they explain oh no the due date is the 28th and after that date they add $100 fee…so now in order to get my item I am paying $300 more than what I originally loaned! I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS...

I give one star because I can give it 0 DO NOT USE THIS PLACE TO PAWN! 4 months ago I made a post because they told me I was paying late, today when I asked them about it they change the new date to the 26 and also said no you are not making payments you are PAYING US $100 a month to take care of it, if you want to take it out you have to pay the FULL loan amount. I’ve paid them a total of $900, to get it out that would be another $600, THAT IS $1,500… I loan $500.Not once did they think to tell me anything other than I was making a payment towards what I owed… I repeat DO NOT GO TO THIS PLACE TO PAWN ANYTHING. Would usually rate this place great!! But turning away a family of 7 selling their kids xbox to pay a power bill; keep in mind, this family of 7 in an area that lost power due to a natural disaster. Oh that lost all their food and stuff and had to recoup that to eat.

Power is shut off, needed a way smaller amount than what the xbox at pawn rates go, turned away bc the controller covers were missing.... xboxs come with one controller, brought in two....

The staff there is trash and I hope the next tornado DOESNT affect them and their families....
