My mother and I went in to Atwood today with several family estate pieces in the hopes of getting them repaired and resized. Needless to say, would have been a considerable transaction. We walked in to a bustling store which is very understandable this holiday season. After patiently waiting well over 15 minutes, absolutely no employee even acknowledged our presence. We watched countless transactions occur, and every other customer being greeted upon entry but it was like we did not exist to Atwood. Finally, a man entered the store after our considerable waiting period, and was immediately greeted and offered assistance by an employee. It became very apparent after every individual in the store with a male in their party was helped and greeted while we were completely ignored that this “silent treatment” was intentional. We did not once make a fuss about not being assisted, but did have to politely decline service and take our business elsewhere after the unpleasant, and frankly biased, treatment by the employees. We love to support small businesses, and hate to even leave negative reviews, but we were left feeling very disrespected and upset after...

I was interested in trading my current diamond for an estate ring .The jeweler took my ring out back and came back with an offer to which I agreed to.he stated it would take a couple of days to switch the stones.A fierce one week of not hearing from store I called and was told it had to be sent out due to jewelers need for leave.and it would be ready by the following Friday.after not hearing from the store on Friday I then called on the following Monday.I was told the jeweler had over estimated the value of my stone and they would not honor the offer made. I was never contacted by this store.l was made an offer and I accepted his offer .I felt he was competent to evaluate jewelry and make a good faith offer I was mistaken and feel there was absolutely no customer service. I have never been so insulted in my life and feel like I've been taken to the cleaners ! Me and my wife came into this jewelry store and purchased an antique necklace with sapphires in it for $900 and I got it appraised and to my disbelief it was only worth $45 dollars!? I came back to the store possibly to see if the women would do a refund or work something out with us but i was met with hostilty and the answer with the most rudest and belittling comment that came out her mouth it turned me off to ever wanting buying jewelry from the store ever again! They will rip you off then in the next second insult you after the fact and blatently and with no regard to people's lives or respect for there customers .
