I sincerely apologize for anyone that has been misled by a review below me about a one week ago who has given it one star. should contextualize when you should and should not write a review for a restaurant.
Did you walk into the restaurant at the busiest time of the day and the busiest time of the week? Did you not make a reservation? Fine, no problem you are you probably waited at the bar if your intention was to go to the hibachi. That shouldn't be a problem and now it would be certainly silly to be a surprised while you've had an hour to look at the prices to be surprised at the receipt.
Meanwhile, you looked at the menu for an hour considering that what you were going to order and if it will, the items were too expensive while you were waiting for an hour. You want the opportunity to not wait and go to a different restaurant.
Why you would complain after the fact what you were staring at the prices ordered the second most expensive hibachi on the menu (outside of the lobster)? very asinine thing to do so. The previous review is one of the silliest things I've l she has no complaints about the food, just about the food prices which are completely in line with the other two hibachi restaurants in the area. In fact they are the cheaper of the three
I've gone to this restaurant ~50 times in the last year and a half and I've gotten everything on the menu outside of any pork steak dishes. So I can tell you that their food is a 4.5 out of five no doubt. The only superior sushi in the state comes outtakumi in Nashua. However, everything is top notch and there's never a reason that if it doesn't come out right the first time that they won't make it right the second time.
Which leads me to the fact that they are without a doubt New York style service and they get a 5 out of 5 which is what brings me back to this restaurant time and time again. They are knowledgeable, friendly and cordial and are not afraid to be able to answer your questions.
Why would you leave a big tip to a restaurant if they gave you poor service and the complain about it online? Are you implying that the intimidated you to leave a nice tip or visit because they give you such great service that you felt obligated to? Either way it's very very ridiculous reason to give them a one out of five because you regret the amount of money that you gave them as a tip. So please try to get a balance review from somebody that's been to the restaurant more than one time and that's seeing their how their service operates.
The only downside that you can argue is their location is not on a lake or some sort of beautiful mountain. They happen to be a little bit hidden and they could absolutely benefit from a setting like they were at the Tuscan kitchen down the street. But that said, there's no reason not to get the best Asian fusion cuisine simply because you have to drive an extra 3 minutes. The atmosphere themselves is four to five because the people there are always awesome.
Let's discuss the increase of prices in the restaurant. This is true. The prices increased in wasabi of their raw material ingredients rising by a margin greater than 30% in the last year. Bus, yes, the price of their dishes have risen about 20% in the last year or so. That's actually less THAT'S LESS THEN THE RESTAURANT AVERAGE in the last year. That's called inflation. It's caused by the Federal reserve system and government spending, not by wasabi
This is a family run business room business and deserves do you have people give it a review that it has...

Allowed me to share my experience with few of you who really understand what I am talking about here ( other people may not get it).Today 10/17/2020 we made a 3 orders and paid so much even we paid a big tip too (as everyone know this is an expensive place .way above the average them prices). The following is the summary of the cons, and pros with this order, as I am making sure that I am fair, and reasonable:
Cons: Waiting time: called twice, and waited more than promised ( more than 37 m / promised 15 m) space, and safety: today is Saturday was very crowded like a zoo. No safety space (no 6 feet rule), and many people with no mask(s). Customer service: Fake, and have no idea about my order, not organized, and customers mean just money. prices: have many selection with different prices but prices way above the average. Expensive if you compare what you get (amount of food too small smaller than other places). package and handling: as noted from the attached pictures very poorly, disappointed, and cheap. ( Plastic bag!!!! Really, if your order more than $100 may you will get a normal paper bag nothing fancy with cheap sticks). In addition, they have a 3 orders in one container ( looks ugly and cheap to have your order all in one container - remember you paid extra to get a better service, food, and presentation but not here. size: as mentioned smaller than regular size or amount for example sushi size very tiny and half of the regular size in more money. Menu: easy to read but very shady with the quantity and size. For example the regular sushi roll either 4 pcs. 5pcs or 6 pcs and very tiny half of the regular size. ( Some items specified but many not and very shady not explained well). reviews : many people happy and had a good experience but most either fake, or for show off, or get invited ( didn't felt the real experience).
Pros: Menu: easy to read, organized, and easy to order except for what mentioned above. Employee: connected, family, and always happy. location : easy access, and close where we live. Service: great service except for what mentioned above. food quality: very fresh, very tasty, and better than other places. Cleanness: place always seems clean, and new.
Conclusion: After today, specially with the way was my order presented to me. I felt that I get fooled and was a rap off. I wasn't satisfied with the amount of the food, the presentation, the waiting time, and the safety rules. even when was very tasty and good quality, we decided that me personally I will not be back, but I kept it open for any one else in my house (up to them but I will not). I will be trying other places. I been a very loyal customer for long and today was a good reason for me to decide I deserve better.
Thank you for reading my honest review. And hope it was...
Read moreWe chose Wasabi Steak House for a family dinner, expecting a nice evening out— but it turned into one of the most frustrating dining experiences we've had.
First, we were guided to sit in the sushi section and settled in, but things quickly went downhill. When the waitress came to take our drink order, we politely asked for one room-temperature water and two cold waters (no ice). Despite repeating this multiple times, she brought us all ice-cold water. My aunt cannot drink cold water, so we had to request it again. The second time, she returned with steaming hot water instead. It was clear she didn’t understand what we were asking for, even after three attempts.
Ordering food was no better. The waitress didn’t seem to understand English well and had no knowledge of the menu—she couldn’t explain the difference between cooked and raw sushi, which is a basic expectation at a sushi restaurant. She even made a rude and unnecessary comment implying I didn’t know what ramen was. She kept insisting we hadn’t ordered “enough,” even though we ordered seven main courses and five appetizers for our group. I’m not sure what her issue was, but it felt pushy and uncomfortable.
To make matters worse, the restaurant is incredibly loud due to the ongoing hibachi shows nearby. Even though they attempt to divide the sushi and hibachi sections, the noise is overwhelming. If you're looking for a calm, enjoyable dinner—this is not the place.
But the most frustrating part of the night was the bill. When it came time to write the tip, the waitress pointed at the receipt and insisted that we must write at least an 18% tip or more—saying that anything below that would not be accepted. That kind of pressure is completely unprofessional and unacceptable.
Wasabi Steak House was a complete disappointment from start to finish. Between the poor service, communication issues, noise, and forced tipping, we will absolutely not be returning. I do not recommend this place to anyone looking for a respectful, pleasant...
