So, skipping unnecessary details of my shopping trip I get up to check out with my 4 items a dress, a cinch back pack and 2 paint your own type things i scan my things and turn to ask for the security devices to be taken off she said yes but she needs to look at my screen I'm like no problem I literally just scanned all this. She says that the bag didn't get scanned and tried to take it i said no the charge is right there i pointed to it and the description was cinc B and some randomness that rang up for 2.50 she said that price was wrong and she wasn't gonna take the security tag off, I said no you scan it yourself and take off that last charge for 2.50 and I'll pay whatever it scans as. She scanned it and it came up 10.00 still no problem i wanted the bag. She then refused to take off the charge for 2.50 that at this point I have no idea where that came from and gets her boss neither of them understood that I had 4 items and there were 5 items scanned on the screen finally after I raised my voice and got mean which I hate that I did that they got what I was saying removed it and moved on. I get home and go to take off the tag and opposite side of the Tag has a clearance tag for that bag for 2.50. I don't really know what I...

To begin the "LOD" walked up to the counter with an attitude, and a condescending tone as I tried to greet him. Apparently I interrupted something because he proceeded to be rude, and began talking down to me for trying to inquire about having an item price matched.
First off, the attitude wasn't necessary, but ultimately it was a big factor in my decision for leaving your dirty store and taking my time and my money elsewhere. Coincidentally, it's also the reason why I'm taking the time to write a review.
If you politely declined to price match that would have been fine, in fact, I probably wouldn't have even been bothered by it. I probably would have thanked you for your time and told you to have a nice day.
I'm actually delighted to know that my reasons for not shopping at Target have been completely validated by this experience. Store policies don't mean anything here, and are left to the discretion of whoever the lead at the time is. In my case it was an arrogant manager with a huge chip on his shoulder.
TLDR: This store employs some pretty rude people who have no problem belittling you for trying to price...
Read moreOh gosh. This company, my wife and I had our baby registry here. The bassinets we bought didn’t swing so I returned it, I got a new one and had issues with it a couple weeks later. I returned the second one, I was issued a merchandise gift card and brought it home to my wife so she could order baby cloths for our son. Apparently you can use merchandise gift cards at target.com. So I drove back to the store and tried to exchange it for a gift card. I was told I couldn’t do this because I didn’t have the original purchase receipt(this was a registry item). I got frustrated with them after explaining this several times and said a swear word. Apparently swearing is the same as cussing at someone because the manager asked me to stop swearing at her. I let her know that I directed no insult towards her and that I was frustrated because my wife who is a new mother can’t come into the store to clothes shop for our son(during a pandemic)There was nothing she even tried to do to help. I had to call targets corporate office. They verified the original item was purchased from the registry and issued me a standard target gift card. I will be spending the gift card and I will take all of my future...
