Ok, so about a year and a half ago I switched my hairstyle from a standard 2 to 4 uptown fade to a fade on the sides and a scissor cut on top styled kind of in a messy faux hawk. And during that year and a half, every time I get my haircut; it's never exactly how I want it to be. It's either too short by a little bit, too long by a little bit, or they don't taper the sides and the back right or something... Anyways, The woman who cut my hair did an amazing job, and honestly; it was the first time that I have ever been 100% happy with how my haircut turned out since I changed hair styles. Very pleasantly surprised! The only reason I gave 4 stars and not 5, is this. My appointment was at 5:30 p.m and as soon as I sat down in the salon chair I could tell that the woman who would be cutting my hair was definitely already half way home (ready for her day to be over). She had a decent disposition / attitude, but was definitely not enthused about having to still be there working. Which really worried me. I figured she was just going to half a%$ it and rush through the haircut and ultimately, I would leave disappointed; but she did the exact opposite! DO NOT GO HERE!!!! I have been here (4) times before officiating a review. The first time I wanted a trim with bangs, came out decent. The second time I went I wanted to see the same person, she had moved on. I wanted a layered trim. The lady cutting my hair had tattoos up and down her arm and chopped at my hair like a weed waker. The third time was amazing the young ladtwas able to clean up the mess the lady six months earlier had done. Most recently I went in and seen Kristy I believe, pregnant woman whom was drenched in sweat and had an unpleasant aroma. I had her wash my hair only to find out the Paul Mitchell product was swapped out for a store brand because they were out of the Mitchell... My hair was so frizzy it looked awful. As she began to question how to cut my hair, the lights went out. She continued my cut and completely ruined my hair. Taking 6 inches of and not even mind you. As it dried I had it looked even worse... I had to go a second time the same day, where they took and additional 3 inches..... DO NOT GO HERE!!!! I had Jacklyn today, and I had shown her two different reference pictures of what I had wanted with my haircut which weren’t followed whatsoever. I had shown her a couple of pictures of a short layered bob with bangs, requested that a little bit of the sides be shaved for an undercut because my hair is really thick, and I ended up with a full blown mullet instead. After the first cut of the razor blade, I knew I couldn’t go back from it since she started at my crown for layering. There wasn’t much I could do at that point so I just sat there while she continued. After this appointment, I won’t be going back there. She completely butchered my hair and all I can do is let it grow back out at this point. The first two pictures are the reference, and the last is what I ended up with....
