The food is amazing but this restaurant has one small issue they could easily fix… hire good workers. I order from here quite often! I love the food, the owners are sweethearts, and I love being able to support local hardworking people. Sadly, they’ve been hiring staff that just isnt the best and I had my first horrible experience the other day that felt maybe a review could help the owners understand that they aren’t losing customers over their food, simply because of their staff. I ordered online for 30 minutes ahead of time, i went on time to pick up my order and the owner let me know it was on it’s way. Shortly after i saw them place my order ready for packaging on the counter so I waited. A couple people ordered, the seemed busy so I didn’t say anything and waited for them to take everyone’s order. Once everyone’s order was taken, i got in line again and let the lady know that my order was ready and was just sitting there if i could have it. She said “we’re really busy you’re going to have to wait”. At this point it was 10 minutes after my order shouldve been ready. The order was placed for 12:15pm and it was like 12:28pm when i checked my phone. After she said that she went and served a couple customers who had ordered AFTER ME IN PERSON. I ordered online for this very reason, to not wait and feel like my order was being ignored but I got the absolute opposite experience. It wasnt until her boss told her to hand me my order that she finally did and still had the audacity to ask me for my order name… I said my name, grabbed my order and head out about 12:32… my order was cold as it had been sitting there for 15 minutes, i was upset because i tried asking the girl nicely and she blew me off then proceeded to help customers and hand them their orders when they ordered after i got there and after my order had been placed on the counter. I dont know her name but I don’t think I’ll be going back for a while in hopes she gets fired as she was extremely rude, slow, and ignorant of people’s questions/concerns. There’s usually a sweet guy who works the register and has always helped me kindly and given out orders in order of time placed. I’m not sure what his name is but he’s a sweetheart and I wish he would’ve been there that day as I know he would’ve assisted the store owner a lot more than...
Read moreThis particular Love Love has always been our favorite place for Teriyaki. Usually our experience is always 5 stars. But we were a little disappointed this time. I had ordered online and really appreciated the extra space on each item to write special instructions. However, they didn’t follow them. I had asked for extra of the thick Teriyaki sauce on both my Chicken Teriyaki orders and extra spicy sauce on my spicy chicken order. Not only was there no extra sauce, it seemed as if there was less sauce than normal. I am a huge fan of both their spicy sauce and their thick Teriyaki sauce. But instead had to use the watery less flavorful version that they put in our bag. This made the overall flavor of my meal less satisfying and not as enjoyable. But the really disappointing part of the meal came from the potstickers. They are usually my favorite, along with their egg rolls. But I am pretty positive they changed them because the filling tasted different/less flavorful. They were not very good. If you changed them, please bring back the old ones. These aren’t even comparable. Otherwise, I’ll have to go to Momiji’s from now on for potstickers.
The overall meal was still good and I will continue to go here for their chicken teriyaki. It’s delicious but I highly recommend the thick Teriyaki sauce it’s supposed to be cooked with than the thin Teriyaki sauce they serve on their tables and with their to go orders. Read moreSo sad to see this place change owners. Food quality has dropped and customer service is terrible. I placed an order online through their website today, showed up 27 minutes later. The new owner was working the counter herself, I stood at the pick up window for several minutes before she even acknowledged me. When I told her my name, she said not ready. I noticed what looked like my order sitting on the counter in the area where the kitchen pushes out the food. I said OK and started waiting. Several other orders came out of the kitchen, which she probably called out the names and numbers for people, but the order that look like mine state sitting there. I tried to ask her about it, but she would not even acknowledge me and kept helping other people. Around 10 minutes later, she finally bagged up what I thought was mine and called out my name.
