Family Dollar — Local services in Salina

Love to have this store in our little town, but it just seems to go downhill every time I go in there. Before you even get through the door there are items on the floor, things stacked so tight you can't even tell what they are, some still in boxes. The isles, most every one has boxes stacked so you can't even cart past them, trash on the floor, spilled items, broken items. I feel bad for the usually one person, sometimes two that work there. There is most always a line of six to a dozen people......sometimes so long and slow moving you don't even know if there is a cashier at the the head. One positive i guess is you get to catch up with the local community while your in line waiting.......but plan on spending time when you go and doing a scavenger hunt. I have seen posts of this store on FB that have over a hundred comments, pictures, video's and complaints from the community. Nobody that can do anything about it seems to care to do anything. I'm not one to leave a review like this for a local business without reason. I hope any that see's this and had the same or similar experience would take a few minutes and share their thoughts, pics, vids. Google review are big and have a far and wide reach. ...

Where to even begin, I have never been out of a family dollar faster! You walk in, to where you cant even find a shopping cart.. No employees to be found.. Items all over the floors... we begin to look around, as if that really worked. Because either most of the items was on the floor or broken! I went to walk back to the restrooms... the isles were pretty blocked off, and over flowing with Junk! Carts with boxes, items on the floors, items sticking of the shelves. And to get back to a out of order bathroom, I started walking to the front as I hear a employee yell, Are You Done Yet? In a very snobby way, as if we was bothering her. And she walked up to the registers looking like she had no hygiene what so ever!!

I truly hope that more people start writing reviews on this Family Dollar!!! Its a very sad business, that definitely needs some TLC!! I don't know if there's no manager for the store, or if the manager just truly does not care about the store! I definitely do not plan on returning to this store!

I have had good and bad experiences with staff, but generally have nothing horrible to say about the service so much as the lack of organization and a sad selection of practically worthless stuff. Some things are good, but mostly I go in there to buy gallons of bottled water for $1. I otherwise don't really care for this company being present in such a small town. I believe it removes a lot of money from the local economy by shopping here and causes other local businesses to charge more for similar products. It is the Walmart of...
