I paid $265 to get a medium size cross stitch framed. I went to them before because Michaels kept covering up the edges and paid $241and they did it the right way . Then I found someone at Michaels that framed it correctly and paid half or less the price each time and did the same quality work if not better. When she stopped working at Michaels I decided to go back to them to do it correctly. I was clear of my requirements from the start- that I didn’t want any covered up. The only difference of that one I brought is that it was a little narrower at the top sides than the bottom sides from the tension. When I got it back they covered up at least four rows on each edge. When I went back she explained that when she stretched it the sides were jaggedy so she had to cover it up, like it was no big deal and just a little space - to her it was but for me it was hours of work all for nothing . She could have told me that when I picked it up. What I don’t understand either is why she covered up so much of the top side edges when it was narrower at the top and why she covered up any of the top and bottom. Since it was straight and even there. Seems she was just being lazy. With the price I paid some people have some nerve, it costed more than my car registration and smog check that I paid in the same month- for a foot by foot...

Did not end up using their services but the woman that helped me over the phone went above and beyond to answer my questions and even took the time to look into what I wanted. Ultimately what I needed I will probably have to make myself but I greatly appreciate her honesty and her time she took out of her day to help me.
