Employees are so friendly and so helpful and that’s the only reason I went through with the purchase but probably won’t be back. As I’m purchasing I’m asking for totals to make sure I took enough or im not over purchasing, mind you I was buying for my three kids full sets, I tallied up everything in my head and we were good, the helpful young lady mentioned that I may be able to get a discount based on everything I was taking with me. When I got the counter all the prices were wrong. Thankfully the girl mentioning the discount and because I did ask for a discount, they basically “discounted” the prices to the ones the girl had mentioned to me. I did tell them that the prices were off from the price given to me but they said yeah that’s why we’re honoring it. It’s just, don’t give me wrong prices to then tell me about a sale that is going to be given me to just give me everything at the price mentioned to me. I don’t mind it! I’m thankful but don’t tell me a price and then at the counter I’m being told a total that’s like $100 more then try to play off a nonexistent discount, to “make me feel like I got a steal”. Like that’s messed up, what if I would have gotten other stuff and I’m the one embarrassed because my total doesn’t add but because I was told...

I had such a great experience at El Primo Western in Salinas. The owner, Manny, designed my first American brand cowboy hat and really impressed me with his skill and knowledge. He took the time to walk me through the different styles and history of cowboy hats, making the whole process personal and fun.

The final hat turned out perfect — exactly what I was hoping for. Manny has a true talent for customizing hats to fit each client, and it shows in the details.
