ABOVE AND BEYOND customer service!! First off, I brought my shark vacuum in here to see if I could get it serviced a few months ago. Matt took the time to look up the vacuum style and broke down the costs of how much it would be to fix. Turns out, the vacuum would cost more to fix than to just buy a new one. I was so happy that he took the time to explain this... I told him I'd be back to rent a carpet cleaner and that I did a couple months later. I was shown how to use it at the store and when I told them I had a small car, they offered to drop it off at my house in Amesbury, MA without hesitation. The carpet cleaner worked great and really took up all the stains. A couple days later, it started to smell musty due to the carpet retaining a lot of the moisture. Matt let me take the carpet cleaner again (over the weekend) and explained that I should run the machine over carpets without water/shampoo. Once dried, I put down baking soda and the smell was gone. Matt is amazing! I have a New Home Memory Craft machine which I love and and which has served me well for many years. I recently was having problems with the machine freezing up. I took it to another repair shop, twice, for the problem and was told both times that the machine just needed oil. That never worked. Finally, I drove it up to Matt who diagnosed the problem--it was a frozen engine, which he explained is quite rare. He was able to put in an engine from another machine (even though the engine had more amps) and now my machine purrs! It hasn't run this good in years. And, it cost me less than I paid to have my machine oiled by the service that couldn't fix it!!...
