Couldn’t be happier with our local hardware store. 100x better than the big box stores we used to deal with when living in the Bay Area. Yes their prices are slightly higher on several items, but totally worth it because it would cost you that much in fuel ( & your valuable time) to drive to a big box. And what makes this place the best is their customer service. No matter how big or small your project they’ve got you covered, and with being Bay Area transplants now living on acreage with a well, septic, etc. there is a lot of new stuff to figure out and those dudes have helped us way beyond anything you could imagine. Their employees are extremely knowledgeable & kind. I like that they also have a good wine selection and gifts, as well as clothes like carhart. Great place to buy little gifts & gourmet food snacks too... You wouldn’t think you would find so much cool stuff at a hardware store but there’s plenty of cool stuff to check out. The people at this place are so rude! They argued with me about whether MY credit card is a major credit card!! It is in fact a major credit card, but the manager, I guess, wouldn't even let the guy run it so I could rent a uhaul. Not even 6 months ago, I used THE. EXACT. SAME. CARD. to rent THE. EXACT. SAME. TRUCK. with no problems. The manager, I'm guessing, didn't even have the common decency to come talk to me about it! Instead, she talked to the guy through his ear piece, insisting they wouldn't accept my card! They also told us the truck didn't come with a hitch, but had one right on the shelf behind the guy arguing with me!! If they're going to LIE to their customers, maybe what they are lying about shouldn't be where customers can clearly see it!! I am all for shopping local, but I will not be going to this place again!! With a disrespectful and rude manager with no common decency who has to hide behind an employee, is a joke...

#RudeManagers. The younger lady manager and the elderly manager gave me a hard time returning a purchase today. They informed me that they have a strict No Return Policy for plants, which I can abide. Its the way they handled it is a different story. They asked me numerous questions, gave sarcastic statements about plants and made me feel unwelcome while they were examining the return. I intend to shop locally, but the unprofessionalism and rude behavior of these two ladies has eroded my loyalty to supporting local businesses as such. On the other hand, the rest of the staff were great; they are very helpful and kind.
