If I could give this company no stars I would!
My wife and I had just moved into our residence and needed a small couch to fit into one of our spaces. so we decided to give this place a try. The "initial" customer service received from Carlos(no longer works there) was great, he was friendly and attentive to what we was looking for. So we found and ordered the piece of furniture that we desired, we was at the time of order told it would be available for delivery in 1 week. This time frame fit us perfectly, so when one week came and went by with no phone call we gave the store a call to try and reach our sales rep, of which we was told he is off and would be in the following day. So the very next day we was in the area and decided to stop by and just speak with them about the promise to have the furniture in. We was told that it has been delayed by 3 days and when it arrived they would give us a call. 3 days passed with no phone call, and as time would have it we was busy and didn't make it back into the store until the 5th day. On the 5th day we was told yes it was supposed to be in 5 days ago but now yet again the product has been delayed at their warehouse and would be in on the very following Monday. We where unsatisfied with the little to no explanation as to why and asked for compensation for having to deal with the delay and sit essentially on the floor. The rep Carlos offered up a rug that has been on the floor in the sales room floor since I am sure they opened as compensation. We accepted knowing that the rug would have to be cleaned upon arrival. The following Monday came, and again no phone call so by the afternoon my wife called to try and reach someone and at the time they tried to apologize and told us that Carlos no longer works with the company and the furniture would arrive the next day and would be delivered between 12-2 pm. So I rearranged my schedule to be home to ensure the product was as sold being in perfect condition with no scratches or tears. At 2:30 the furniture still was not delivered and neither did I receive a courtesy call stating they are running behind. I call the store and spoke with a Johnny would then told me he has no control over the delivery drivers or their time table and the best he could do is get it to me as quickly as possible and oh the rug since it wasn't documented on my account or told to anyone else would not be arriving either. I asked to speak to a manager and at that time he told me he was the manager. Big shocker there, and continued to use NO NO phrases like "as I said" and continued to interrupt me and had little compassion for the fact they cost me money, time, and a few grey hairs. He then told me the furniture would be here between 4-6 and here we wait. I will be surprised if the furniture gets delivered with no faults to it or even be on time. On 17 October 2014, my husband and I purchased an office desk off the floor at a reduced price which appeared to have only small nicks and scratches that could and would be easily repaired. The sales person was friendly and cooperative and a delivery date was set for 22 October between 3-5 P.M. No one showed up. After phoning the store, another employee rescheduled delivery for 10:30 A.M. on 23 October. The crew was late, but did deliver the desk and touched up the nicks and scratches. Reflooring was taking place in our house and later in the day, as the workers carried the desk to the office I noticed one leg was at an awkward angle. They were instructed to place the desk in the dining room and upon closer inspection, the leg was not only angled, but the back of the desk had splintered from the twisted leg. I phoned the store again and after explaining the situation, the scheduling employee told me he would send a tech out to either retighten the leg or replace the broken part if needed. The appointment was set for 4 P.M. on the 24th. No one showed up. After multiple calls to the store, I was told by this same employee that the tech was on another job, running late and would not be able to come out to our house until the next morning. My husband and I had another appointment the morning of the 25th so an arrival time was scheduled for 1:00 P.M. On the morning of the 25th, while we were gone, apparently the tech showed up, found us unavailable and left. His message stated that he had a 10:30 arrival time, which was not the case. Upon contacting the store again, I was told by the scheduling employee that the tech had already arrived and left and would not be sent out again until Tuesday the 28th. When I reminded the employee of the morning conflict, thus the afternoon appointment, he adamantly told me that the tech would not return at the agreed appointment time and would not be available until the 28th. After a heated discussion between myself and this employee over their poor scheduling practices, the end result was he refused to take the broken desk back and credit our account nor would he send the tech back at anytime to repair anything. Read moreOnce they get paid, the customer service goes out the window! SAVE YOUR ENERGY AND LOOK ELSEWHERE! I purchased a queen bed frame and mattress with box spring only to get a loaner bed (my bed frame came in the wrong color) that sat in my home for almost three weeks while I hassled to get the correct one brought to my home! Being that the bed frame issue already surfaced, I didn’t even mention my brand new mattress being cut up with small tears in different areas.Within a month time frame of ME reaching out, I was promised the correct bed and upon delivery it was still the wrong design. Took it back (loaner bed still provided) and was promised to search for the one I wanted only to find it was no longer in stock smh. With the frustration of everything, I settled for a different style. Waited for that style and nope, nothing still! Finally got upset after I made my third payment already and decided to tell them to come remove the loaner and replace my mattress. When they came to remove the loaner frame, they brought a cheap mattress to replace my plush pillow top. Again, after feeling like I was a problem after they swore it was the same mattress but different color, I gave up and just told them to refund my money for the frame. I was also told they could only accommodate half my delivery fee being reimbursed. Now I’m only left with a boxspring and mattress to “enjoy”. I was BEYOND patient and like mentioned before, was going to settle for any bed frame as long as it was the color I wanted yet it felt like I was pulling teeth to get someone to help me. It’s a shame that after all the patience I gave, I felt like I was a problem! When I made the comment about the mattress being different, the delivery guy had an attitude and just pushed the mattress along and said to the other worker, “just take it, she is not going to want it.” I’ll take my $900+ elsewhere and give it to a company that wants to keep me as a customer. What a great start when moving into a new apt. I’ll now have to find someone to snitch up these holes in the mattress before they get bigger and the inside material starts...
