A San Antonio Gem – Burger Boy is a Must-Try!

First time at Burger Boy and I’m officially a fan for life. As soon as I pulled up to the drive-thru, Ashlyn greeted me with the kind of energy that instantly makes you feel like you’ve come to the right place. I mentioned it was my first visit, and without skipping a beat, she gave me a full rundown of their popular items and what she personally recommends. You could tell she genuinely cared about making sure I had the best first impression possible — and she nailed it.

Despite having six cars ahead of me, I was in and out of the drive-thru in under five minutes. Yes, five minutes. That kind of efficiency is rare, especially when you consider the quality of the food.

And the food? Absolutely phenomenal. The burger was massive, juicy, and full of flavor — no shortcuts taken here. And the loaded crinkle fries? To. Die. For. Perfectly crispy, cheesy, savory, and everything you want in a comfort food side.

Burger Boy is officially on my go-to list. Amazing service, lightning-fast turnaround, and food that’s worth every bite. Major shoutout to Ashlyn for making my first visit...

So clearly our meals were not fresh. Burgers seemed to come smashed? I noticed that it wasn't just ours, in these reviews you can see other's pictures reflecting what I mean. Highly disappointed because this was my first time and I wanted to see what the hype was about. Drive thru moved fairly quickly, minor mistakes made in order taking (had to repeat drink more than once but that's ok, clearly still training). Fries were supposed to be loaded, we received our fries with some cheese, bacon and jalapenos. Majority were not covered. Perhaps our ideas of loaded are different. Burger it's self, worth my money? No. Rather go to all other burger joints then to pay my hard earned money for a old, cold, flavorless burger. Sorry guys maybe it was just this one time it's a miss but I won't be risking wasting money again...

First time at this location: How about providing your workers with some proper shade that actually offers relief? It was 6:20 PM, 95°F, but felt like 102°F.

As for the girl at the drive-thru window—she closed the window so quickly that we didn’t even get a chance to finish talking or ask her name to leave a good review. She was polite, but not very friendly. She didn’t check back to see if we needed anything else.

The food came out about 10 minutes after the window was closed. That’s not an issue—we don’t mind waiting, no matter how long it takes. We understand you may be understaffed or busy. For us, it’s all about how we’re treated. That’s what makes the...
