I am extremely upset with this company. My fiancé and I purchased a king bed from them, and it was great- we brought it home ourselves. We went back last week to get a couch set (that was promised 20% off by manager when we bought our bed) - never received 20% off because he said they couldn't do it for a couch set (unprofessional) couch, love seat, and ottoman. The love seat came defective. The manager told us we would have a new one the next day. The next day came and went, nothing. The following day (by 7pm) there was still nothing so we called. They told us it would be delivered that night and delivery would call us. Delivery called us (very very nice men) and told us that they didn't even have it and the stock room called them to call us and tell us (unprofessional). It is now a week later of this ongoing problem and FINALLY the manager very rudely told me "well it's not there because it's not in stock. Well call you in a week and a half - two weeks when we have one for you". Furious. Definitely will not be going back for our bedroom and...

We paid the $100+ delivery fee and we were told that they would place the items in the room for us, they just wouldn’t assemble it, which okay thats fine we could assemble it. However, the delivery men showed up with part of our order, dropped it off in the door way but told us they would be back in 15 minutes to bring the rest of the order they forgot and move it upstairs for me but took over 4 hours to return.
I tried to be understanding but when they finally showed up they refused to help take the items upstairs and told us ”The other order they had told them he would call corporate if they were late and he was more important.” Like how do you say that to a customer? We even offered to help move it upstairs we just needed help and they still refused.
Don’t promise that the delivery guys will place the items in the room for you , and certainly don’t treat one customer differently because another one is supposedly more important. My money is just as...
Read moreWe purchased a refrigerator from American Freight last weekend. We were interested in a particular model and they had 3 units in stock. All three were listed as open box - like new condition. When we got to the store, all three refrigerators had dents or scratches. We picked out the best one and made our purchase. After we got home, we noticed that there is a shelf missing in the freezer and two light bulbs were missing. I don't think the $315 we saved by not purchasing new at Lowe's was worth it, so we won't be shopping here again. UPDATE: I contacted American Freight as per their instructions in the response below about the "like new" refrigerator that I purchased that was missing a shelf and two light bulbs, and I haven't heard back from them. Not one word. I guess I shouldn't be surprised. If a company is going to lie about the products they sell, they would also lie about having concern for their customers or having any customer service at all.
