I bought some tamales from Don's on Sunday and was very disappointed. The tamales were very crumble and falling apart. Sizes were not consistent and some didn't have any meat in them at all just masa. It seems like there was no care in making the tamales they were just thrown together. First of all I drove across town from the cibolo area and wasted time, gas, and money. Never again.This has happened before but I tried to give them a second chance, but no more. .Someone needs to reevaluate the process ...

This place has the best tamales in San Antonio! I’ve been a customer for years and so has my family. We recently came to get tamales for Christmas and they did not disappoint. My whole family loved them and so did the kids. This place has super friendly staff and you can tell they are always working hard and fast behind the counter.
