Taco Express Cafe — Restaurant in San Antonio

I wish I had known😕 my husband & I had visited this place a long time ago. We turned right around due to the funny smell of the building. Today and yrs later, we thought we'd give it a try again. Smell was still there, but figured its not Their fault. Upon ordering I find that they are Honduran, no problem, they usually don't eat spicy food and we eat a lot of it, however more often than not they have what we call good sazón Well this was a not. Over and done with when our bill came out a bit high. We talked it over on the way home, checked their website only to find a review stating that those people will rip you off if you don't pay cash. My husband called to ask for prices and they immediately said that they had overcharged him for two tacos that we hadn't ordered. Funny how quickly she knew but not quick enough to stop us at the door or in the parking lot. I think that they work in cahoots with other customers to rip customers off. We eat out a lot, I know, but we work hard for our money to do so. WATCH OUT 👁...

DO NOT GIVE THIS PLACE YOUR BUSINESS!!! THEY STEAL!!! Should have checked the reviews. They over charged us and when I called they knew exactly why I was calling before I said it. Place smelled of old attic as you enter. Food was flavorless!!! Coffee was OK. This Found on reviews

Do NOT use a credit card here! I always tip when the service is good, which is why I didn't leave a tip the last time I went. Of course, that didn't stop the old lady in designer knockoffs from adding a tip on her own. THESE PEOPLE WILL STEAL FROM YOU!!! The food is good, but only go if you have cash. )
