This was our first time experiencing an escape room. Scheduling online was easy. I signed my waiver online too.I love that they are private and reserved just for those in your group. In this case my husband (also a veteran) so I’m happy to now know the owner Tyler is also a veteran and we supported his amazing business. I had always wanted to try something like this but after kids it gets challenging to get out. So this year for his birthday I took it as an opportunity to check something off my bucket list, celebrate his birthday and have a date which was long overdue. Let me say we were not at all disappointed. I would love to come back and bring others to experience something so fun and challenging. Noelle was our epic game master. We got checked in and I was so happy there are free lockers for belongings. As soon as we walked in I regretted bringing my purse in and was about to go put it in the car until we were informed about the lockers. There’s Red Bull in the lobby. We literally stopped at the gas station across the street because my husband wanted a Red Bull. Now we know for next time. Noelle went over everything and how to use items, where to place items and rules of course. Communication was clear and she was very helpful throughout the entire experience. I picked a challenging escape room because I wanted it to be fun and not too easy but maybe next time an easier one.haha At least until we get the hang of it if that’s a thing.haha All in all great experience. Me and my husband need to work on communicating a bit better because we were all over the place. It was hilarious. Lord forbid we get stranded somewhere. I apparently need to work on my math and he needs to work on counting objects (that’s math too right?).🫣😂 The set up was amazing. So realistic and I’m ready for Halloween now after that. It was such a cool and fun experience. Afterwards we went to have lunch and talked about what we could’ve done better, where we went wrong and just laughed about our mistakes. It’s hard to think and focus when you only have an hour but that’s the fun part. The time limit. We should’ve looked at the clock more. Well anyways we are prepared for next time and want to go back. It was nice hearing my husband talk to my son about it. The excitement in his voice was priceless. We work a lot but sometimes we need to have fun just the two of us. Thank you Noelle for being so kind, pleasant and helpful. You truly made our experience enjoyable and I hope you’re there next time we visit.

Thanks Austin, the Mardi Gras was a Thrilling Escape Room Experience If you’re looking for an escape room that blends high-energy excitement with intricate puzzles, Mardi Gras Mayhem delivers an unforgettable adventure. From the moment you step into the game, you’re transported to the vibrant streets of New Orleans during its most electrifying celebration—Mardi Gras. Immersive Atmosphere & Design The attention to detail in this escape room is outstanding. The décor captures the essence of a lively French Quarter parade, with colorful beads, elaborate masks, and jazz music setting the tone. The lighting and special effects add a sense of urgency, making you feel like you’re truly part of the celebration—except there’s more at stake than just partying. Engaging Storyline The plot is captivating: The grand Mardi Gras parade is about to start, but chaos erupts when the king’s crown—a priceless artifact—goes missing. Your team has just 60 minutes to navigate the bustling streets, sneak into secret hideouts, and uncover hidden clues before the parade is ruined. The stakes are high, and the sense of urgency keeps adrenaline pumping throughout. Challenging & Creative Puzzles The puzzles in Mardi Gras Mayhem are a perfect blend of logic, teamwork, and hands-on interaction. From decoding cryptic jazz notes to solving riddles hidden within festival decorations, each challenge feels fresh and unique. One particularly impressive element involves using UV light to reveal secret messages on a Mardi Gras float—a clever nod to the magic of the celebration. Teamwork & Fun Factor This room is designed for groups of all sizes, making it an excellent choice for families, friends, or corporate teams. Communication is key, and every team member has the chance to contribute. The puzzles are challenging but not impossible, striking a perfect balance that keeps players engaged without feeling frustrated. Final Verdict: 5/5 Stars Mardi Gras Mayhem is an absolute must-try for escape room enthusiasts and newcomers alike. It masterfully combines immersive storytelling, intricate puzzle design, and an electric atmosphere to create a one-of-a-kind experience. Whether you’re a fan of Mardi Gras or just looking for an exciting escape, this room will leave you talking about it long after you’ve made your great escape!

Came here with a group of friends on two different occasions and had a blast both times! The first escape room we did here was the Waldschrate and that one had a creepy vibe to it but was so much fun! Though if you have claustrophobia, the beginning of this escape is not for you. We were able to escape this room easily and our game master Peyton was great! The second time we came here we did two escape games in one night. We started off with Christmas Impossible and man this one was very easy and we escape with 30 minutes left. That one is definitely more kid/family friendly and not difficult at all! Then we did Tomb of the red queen… man when I tell you this game room was very hard. Honestly probably the hardest escape room I’ve done to date. There are seven different lock types, and over 12 locks to unlock. The second room is what ate up all of time and unfortunately was the first escape room we lost as a group after a winning streak of 11 games. There is just so many puzzles you have to figure out in that second room and having five people is not enough. We did make it to the third room, but ran out of time. Our game master was Noelle and I believe Steven. They were great and easy to talk to. Definitely recommend coming here with friends and family!! Amazing staff! Austin was our game master on 3/13/25 for Murder at Mardi Gras! We escape with 15 minutes left and it was really fun! He was a great game master and we didn’t have to ask for any hints!

This review might be a little lengthy, but I feel it's worth discussing. It's not everyday you have a somewhat negative experience but still leave a good review. So, I'll explain. My mom and I had booked an experience here, and were super excited to go. We had never done an escape room before, so we were really looking forward to it. When we got there and went through the room, our experience was not what we had hoped for. Our room was so dimly lit that we struggled to see most of what was going on. The experience involved having to deal with a lot of locks, and trying to line up the numbers or letters on the locks was extremely difficult. We ended up both getting a headache from having to strain our eyes in there, trying to make out the symbols and numbers. Even inside the other parts of the room, it was almost too dark to really see what we needed to see. Despite telling the staff this, they weren't able to do much. They provided flashlights, but only by the time we were halfway through our allotted hour. The overall premise was really fun. The decor was cool. It would have been a really fun experience if we could have just better seen what we were doing. At the end of it all, my mom and I were left feeling pretty displeased. We both felt like we would have had a much better time if w could have just seen what we were doing. The staff couldn't do much to help and overall it was just a real bummer. So, that evening, I left a review explaining our displeasure of the experience. It gave it two stars and my mom and I had agreed that if we ever did an escape room again, it wouldn't be here. However, that very evening, the owner called me. Not only did he seem genuinely sympathetic about our negative experience but he even wanted to discuss it in detail, as to learn more about what had happened. He confessed that he learned that several bulbs in that area had gone out and that the staff simply either didn't know, or were too busy to remember to convey that information to the owner. We're all human and mistakes happen. I think the staff was likely just busy. They all seemed to run around quite a bit. The more I talked to the owner though, the more I realized that my mom and I really just went there on an off day. It happens. And seeing the glowing reviews of this place makes me believe it even more. But the owner not only apologized, he also worked with me to come up with a happy solution to remedy what had happened. And this is why I leave a 4 star review. It's refreshing to see a business not only investigate an issue, but be sincere and genuine about fixing it. The owner truly cared and was not pleased that we didn't have an exceptional experience. That alone turned the whole experience around for us. And because of that, we are definitely coming back! I appreciate how the owner took time out of his day and worked with me, and I appreciate his sympathy about our struggle in there, and his dedication to ensuring that every customer has a top notch experience. That kind of customer service is really rare these days. So, a big thank you to the wonderful owner! And because you guys were so awesome, we will absolutely be back to give y'all another chance. We're really excited! Off days happen, and it's obvious we just caught you guys on one. But we appreciate you acknowledging that and remedying the situation with such kindness and understanding. We'll be seeing you guys again soon. The school of magic experience is looking...
