Primal Juice & Smoothies — Restaurant in San Antonio

Tried this place for the first time. 11/16/24 2:40pm. I was in the market for a nice refreshing healthy drink. Im very observant when it comes to people making my food and drinks. What i observed is the one guy working with a chicago bulls hat had one glove on and one glove free hand making the drinks. When he was done making the customers order before us I assumed he would take off his one glove and change it or wash his hand or something but he didnt do anything but continue to make drinks. At first I thought he must use the gloved hand to handle fruits and consumables but no, he uses both. Also while standing there taking our order he put both of his hands together one gloved and the other not gloved which totally defeats the purpose of clean gloves in the first place. Then he makes our drinks. So when I paid for the drinks I paid with cash and yup you guessed it he took the money with the gloved hand and gave me my change with the other and then after he still proceeded to make drinks and touch consumables after he handled cash without washing his hands!!!!!! Cash is filthy everyone should know that and people making food and drinks should also know not to cross contaminate, thats common sense. Obviously this guy doesnt care. And if he is the owner well thats even worse. I WILL NOT...

Yesssssss....... please, we need more locations all around Texas. I go visit at least once a week, when time permits of course. But whenever I don't have the time to make my own smoothie. I leave it to the professionals over at primal juice. I love and recommend the Unbeetable smoothie. Consisting that of beets of course and several other delicious fruits and vegetables that you may like as I do. If you're looking for great tasting smoothies that pack a protein punch or want to replenish after a workout? Then this is the place you want to visit. Friendly and knowledgeable staff, fresh ingredients and I just can go on and on. Don't wait any longer, go and be amazed. I guarantee that you will not be disappointed. Actually 3.5 stars (almost gave it a 3 but rounded up instead). Smoothie (strawberry/banana)-good portion, good flavor. Acai bowl was disappointing. The portions are not what we're used to compared to others, especially for the price... but the most daunting thing was the incorrect toppings-including a peanut butter mix up, not great for those with allergies (the items were packaged and labeled "correctly" but the pb topping was on the wrong one). Also asked for no honey, but a honey flavor is present (which caused an allergy concern in our case). Also didn't have many fruit toppings.
