Extra Space Storage — Local services in San Antonio

This store has maintained my belongings through two deployments. My most recent deployment was in Iraq. Upon my return I was able to meet an awesome manager by the name of Ms. RaeAnna Zambrano. Her professional approach and helpful demeanor made my return an easy transition with getting my current rental space squared away and with adding an additional space.

Ms. RaeAnna Zambrano the store manager has always worked alone and never with an actual store manager until recently. During my time in and out of my unit I have observed Ms. RaeAnnas work ethic and hustle to do her very best with the property and the pride she takes within her job and position is evident in how she treats each customer and how she truly tries to improve the property.

It's truly awesome to see someone who actually cares for what she does and for her customers. She is to be commended and to be honest deserves to be the actual store manager and not just the assistant manager. I've been back for almost 5-6 months and I've never noticed or seen anyone else helping her or in the actual store manager role. This assistant manager RaeAnna deserves to have the current manager position and given the opportunity to excel and continue to make this store the best that it can be!

The current store manager Angela is always on her phone and very rude and very disrespectful. It's very noticeable that she can care less or has a clue of what needs to happen in the store.

Upon my dealings and observations when I go to my unit Ms. RaeAnna Zambrano has handled all her store duties on her own for months without any help from anyone ..... I've seen her many times mopping buildings and cleaning out units by herself without anyone to help her. She always has a smile on her face and efforts and desire to excel are evident always! She should be rewarded with the store manager...

Wonderful staff. GREAT CUSTOMER SERVICE! I left my unit open and unlocked. The staff called each contact number they had and left urgent messages until they spoke to me. They closed and continued to monitor my unit for me until I was able to come lock up properly. Luckily I hadn't left town yet, but they assured me that even if I had not been able to lock up in a timely manner, they would have continued to watch out for my unit and a work around could have been for them to lock with a new padlock and secure the new key until I returned. On the morning of 12/24/21, I got a call from Matthew at Life Storage on Foster Road. The previous night, someone had cut through the chain link fence on one side of the property and cut off several locks in an attempt to steal from several storage units. I came right away and purchased a replacement lock from Matthew. It appears that they were unable to get my door open more than a few inches because I hadn't been in it in awhile and boxes had collapsed and shifted next to the door, so they just moved on, Matthew went above and beyond helping me pull out stuff from around the door so we could get it open and he could replace the latch that had been bent.
