Ordered 25 pc tender family half spicy, took it to go. They handed me my order within 5 min and took me 30 min to reach my home Upon checking meal there was no gravy no half spicy stale and overcooked rolls and not ever warm sides. Was upset but decided to just go back and get it replaced, when I arrived at the location the cashier Jaslynn was polite and ask "how can we help you", I ask for a manager ,the manager was working the window said she will be there in a minute, while waiting a guy from the back decided to address the situation, as I was explaining all the issues he stoped me in the middle of the conversation and said "there is no way we served cold food man" then I proceeded to show him the hard overcooked stale rolls and he said " I will replace the rolls but not the chicken". I also commented and showed him the tenders were dry and chewy and lot of the pieces of chicken breading were broken off, they looked reheated,as i was explaining he again said "you need to let me talk" and repeat it again there is no way the chicken was cold". As he argued with me about my order I showed him the chicken and the he said " I'll replace the chicken but next time we are not liable for your food 30 minutes after you leave". I wasn't expecting hot chicken and I didn't know that the customer has to check the food to make sure the worker did their work correctly. Overall I told them that I didn't need any replacement of the order as I just wanted to leave after been embarrassed by the employee in front of all people present. This was the most uncomfortable situation I've been in. I went very discreetly to just get the chicken tenders and rolls replaced, not even the sides because I can just microwave them and make them hot and I wasn't looking for freebies and only wanted my order done correctly. Read moreI ordered family (16) tender meal from the drive through. The girl ask me if I wanted gravy, I asked for tenders? She said, "yes." I asked, "ranch for tenders?" The meal comes with or without sides. She never asked me or gave me the chance to ask for sides. I waited a while for her to finally ask, after just leaving me hanging at the kiosk for a good while (after she told me to hold on). I finally was given the opportunity to tell her I wanted sides and what kinds. One of the two sides was smashed patotoes. After arriving home there was no gravy for the smashed potatoes. Mind you, she asked me if I wanted gravy, when at the time, the order was just tenders. It is clear her question should have been, what dipping sauce would I like for the tenders? Instead of do I want gravy with that? Clearly there is a deficiency in communication. Something that should have been touched on by management, for that specific position (communicating with customers). Just becuase you know how to speak english, doesn't mean you speak it correctly. Again, that is what training and management is for to see that these disconnects from complacent, uneducated employees doesn't continue. I don't expect much from employees at fast food places at this point, as this is a common occurrence in San Antonio. Everyone knows gravy goes with mashed potatoes, and should never be left out unless customer says otherwise. The manegem should be doing the micro managing, not the customers. Read moreCame here with the wife we both ordered a combo, chicken was decent not spectacular but okay enough to eat. The problem came when we got our 8 piece jalapeño poppers that were almost inedible because they were close to being burnt they were past golden and more of a dark coffee color I took a bite and let my wife try and we both could barely chew it. My wife took the 7 poppers that were left and talked with the afternoon manager showing him they were burnt and the first thing he said is I’m only giving you back 7 since you brought me 7. Wasn’t apologetic or showed any real concern. He then came 10 minutes or so later to our table and asked us to try them and again told he only brought us 7 back because we didn’t give him the full 8 piece, he wanted to clarify that! The poppers were made perfectly and were so good but overall my experience there was not so well the food didn’t have much quality to it chicken was dry and fries were soggy and bland, churches chicken is on top!!!! the reason for this whole review is because the manager imo with all my years of kitchen and customer service experience I think could of handled it better, no matter if we ate 1 or 2 they were all burnt so replace the whole 8 piece it’s not about us wanting more food we can careless about that it was just the principle of him being greedy and also making golden chick look hard up.
