Some Uber Eats research that is contradictory to the owner response below: (1) Restaurants must be a registered partner to appear on their platform. (2) Once accepted and terms are agreed upon, the restaurant uploads their menu to the platform. So, there is no magical wizard waving a want and placing restaurants on Uber Eats without their knowledge. As Uber Eats states, "To become an Uber Eats restaurant partner, please fill out an interest form. Give us your restaurant name and details, number of locations and estimated weekly to-go orders. If your operations seem like a good fit with our app, we may reach out to set up a partnership." That being said, sometimes a simple apology or silence is better. I just see untrustworthy business practices. Original Review========================= I'm going to be honest, this review is not about the food but fees and services. And yes, service comes with a price here.. They put themselves on Uber Eats, we ordered today since I have an eatspass and we're familiar with the location. But, learned that unlike the hundreds of other options that I should've chose, they presented an added takeout charge to the driver, which put her in an awkward position of having to contact and inform me that I was being charged for the plates (an addtl $6.37). Are you serious, La Popular??? Delivery services already include an increased menu price as well as service charges for delivery orders placed through their platform in addition to delivery charges. Won't be ordering again because it's definitely not worth it. You should really not be on a...
Read moreI came here for some munedo because they used beef instead of swine. It was 10.99 on the menu but I was charge $11.87 as a base pay plus 45 cents for using a debit/credit card so my total came to $12.32. I questioned about the menu being different and it said 10.99 she just looked at me and said it's extra for using the card. So my concern wasn't addressed or she just didn't know what her mini price was. If prices are going to change put that in the menu people are coming into an establishment spending their hard-earned money. Not to be nickled and dimed unknowingly. I guess I would say well $12:32 compared to $10.99 is not a real big deal. But for me I travel a lot I'm a foodie and I do rate customer service and good food because people need to know where those places are. This was disappointing to be blown off because I question the price. I gave her the card not knowing that was going to be on my receipt by the way because I assumed it was the price and the menu plus your basic tax the only sign I seen on top on the wall stated that they're going up on their plates because the eggs went up. I did not order a product that...
Read moreHad to edit my original review. This place has always been great but now I dont know what to think. Ever since covid hit this place was still great and slowly not only the staff and the inside changed but the food quality went down hill. Not just breakfast but dinner also. Had chorizo with papa tacos which I always order now they are undercooked and tortillas were a little chewy and dinner was no flavor to the rice, tortillas hard like you can tell they been sitting, meat hard, the gravy sauce for enchiladas and burrito tasted like chili dog sauce. 2 customers came in after me and the waitresses did not acknowledge or assist them, they were more eager to close and leave than assist customers. When I was leaving out the door after standing there for 10 minutes they still didn't acknowledge them, I was like what the heck. So yeah definitely my rating changed from a 5...
