Here we go again, today we went to buy groceries about 2p. We( my hus band and myself)were dressed in jeans very casual due time the weather being wet and kinda cool. However we were clean. We got in line with a very nice cashier w redish hair grown out, I think she's oriental. Anyway we usually spend over $100.00-$150.00. So I decided to help bag because it was busy and the cashier has always been very kind to us. Well I bagged just about everything when I noticed a short, Hispanic woman just standing there watching me. I assume she was a manager over the cashier's. She stood there the entire time not lifting a finger to help. Usually someone will come over and offer to help, however this short chunky Hispanic woman did NOTHING. You know I'm not looking for a job and if you think your above bagging then maybe you should think about helping your employees and a sweet 73 year old woman( that would be me). As I mentioned we do spend over $100.00. Perhaps she needs to help out or get someone else to do her job. I think because the way we were dressed maybe she thought đ¤ we were cheating, not doing something correct? Dunno and I just think with your prices being way above everyone else's you could provide better service. I would have my groceries delivered just to avoid this kind of treatment but Again your delivery fees are outrageous. We live across the street so and seniors and can't afford your fees. Im sorry đ but this HEB is getting worse and worse. Maybe you'd like to hire me? Hahahan not a chance I've worked in customer service for over 45 years. Oh and when tried to return some items the other day Adolfo stated that w/o a receipt next time we could not return the item. I thought if we had a an item charged on a credit card it could be looked up. Or is this not true? We did receive a store credit but got a very stern warning from Mr Adolfo. REALLY? Any thank you for your time and attention in.this matter.
Well, i never received a call back from HEB'S HQ. So I decided to call after waiting for a couple of days. Spoke to a lady named Brenda, she spoke over me never allowing me to explain what had happened. She was short and curt. I didn't expect a call back from the store manager and it wasn't about the FREE DONUT, but it was about the way i was treated as a Senior. Perhaps if I got social media, newspaper or newsstation involved the outcome would be very different. I would like the district manager to know what really happened. Sounds to me like they're trying to cover up the truth, they really missed an opportunity to make things right. There was a very disturbing story by a Michele M. published 5 wks ago at the HEB on Austin Hwy. HEB must do better, your employees at all levels need better customer skills training. TY for your time and hopefully...
Read moreMy HEB here off Thousand Oaks I can happily say are ON POINT all across the board! It starts even before you walk in the store because they have a team of healthy young employees meaning the car so you see them always organizing and making sure that the parking lot looks clean and presentable then you walk in and you see the team at work everybodyâs doing their job the registers are all running smoothly and thereâs always a manager on duty in front to handle any issues that come about particularly with me because I always have issues no matter whatâs going on I canât help it mostly itâs because my card wonât have enough money on it. Iâm trying to transfer for one account to another, but it always happens no matter what that I will have to have an employee come and do an override, but they always do what is required and always have a smile on their face and that makes me very happy. When it comes to products, they have everything I need for all of my culinary needs and thatâs extreme because Iâm in culinary school as all of yâall know, and I am constantly having to come into the store many times a day to restock on items and to get new things I need for different recipes besides that I do my TikTok shop and my TikTok lives in unison with my culinary school so that everything flows seamlessly and I need My H-E-B to always have the things I need and my location always does so Iâm very very happy with that anytime I have any issue. I have to go to the customer service department and this customer service department at this H-E-B is on the ball. I canât give them high props enough for all the things that they do for their community here not just H-E-B the corporate company but actually this specific H-E-B I canât speak about them any more than I...
Read moreThis is "our" H.E.B. because it's right down the street from us. It always has a good selection of so many items. I can always find my staples but there are also always new surprises. The prices are good and they have those wonderful coupons at the door. They really do have some good "bundle" or "package" coupons....where if you buy a certain product you get several associated items free or at a discount. We love the Chinese take out and deli sections. Sometimes you might have to walk passed a few isles to find an employee but when I ask them where a certain item is they almost always know and most of the time will escort you to where it is on the shelf. If they don't know they have always spoken to someone who does. I like the scales that allow you to print the price labels for fresh produce since it saves time at the checkouts. Occasionally there are "wait" times in line but it's never been excessive (unless I'm in a super big hurry and then it's only because I am late and stressed that it seems that way or if it is during holiday rushes and that's common in all retail stores). I find the employees at the registers friendly and helpful. I like the ability to pay certain bills there and their other services like renewing license plates and being able to buy fishing and hunting licenses. The restrooms are clean and considering how many hundreds of people shop there hourly I think they do a good job of keeping the store clean. All in all I LIKE "our" H.E.B" store. Another good thing about them is there are so many of them in Texas that unless you live really out in the sticks there is always a "neighborhood"...
