the inside was set up real cute there were even activities for kids to do and there were lots of things to read which is pretty cool
my cashier was very friendly they were very nice but overall my Americano was not very good at all.
It tasted too watered down it was not very smooth and I could taste a faint taste of tea leaves in my Americano and that's not good I hate when coffee places do that somehow when they make tea and when they make espresso it gets mixed together and you can taste it in the coffee. And also it seemed like even though the cashier that ring me up was super nice and adorable everyone else seemed a little stuck up and not very friendly. I got the vibe that they were friendly to like regulars or certain people but they weren't very friendly to me. Like just because you have a coffee shop it doesn'tmean that you're like better than people especially if your coffee isn't that good and when I say coffee I'm referring to the espresso in my opinion they also didn't like tell me my coffee was ready
they just set the coffee on the table with a bunch of other coffees and then when I was trying to ask for sugar they seemed more concerned with helping the other customers than getting my sugar and my half and half kind of basically insinuating that I was in the way I thought that was kind of weird because I'm a paying customer and they should really treat all customers equally I also noticed that the same people were sitting down as the same people I had seen on a previous day which I don't know if they're the owners or what so that's what makes me think that they only cater to regulars or maybe that was like the owner or something but either way the vibe was kind of weird who knows maybe it's like a bodega or front for some something else...
Read moreI really enjoyed working in this little coffee shop!
The coffee is great, served in a handmade pottery cup. There’s a big emphasis placed in pottery in this coffee shop and if you like the cups you can even buy them. The ube cookie was also phenomenal! I think they are from cookie killers, but in any case definitely worth trying!
The atmosphere is also great! As previously said, there’s a big emphasis placed on pottery. You can buy the coffee cups and there’s a wall with different cups and little plates. There’s also a nice group sitting area, there are some games, and even a guitar and piano! Very nice area was well!
The only things I would have changed (cause I’m picky haha) would be a bit lower on the music. It definitely wasn’t bad, and it was a nice a calming instrumental music, but a bit lower would have been great to take calls or to listen into meetings. The other thing is that there’s only one refill for their drip coffee. It’s already a bit more expensive than other places ($2.95 is only 20-40 cents more expensive but worth noting), so I would have liked to see unlimited like most other places or at least 2 refills. These are picky complaints, but I like honesty.
Overall, super pleased with this place! Worth...
Read moreI recently had the pleasure of visiting Curator Coffee, a quaint coffee shop that’s a bit off my usual path. My journey to this gem was inspired by an invitation as an Elite Yelper, and a desire to support small businesses.
The first thing that struck me was the shop’s simple yet inviting ambiance. It’s a creative space that hosts pottery classes, adding a unique touch to the coffee shop experience. The display of handmade pottery throughout the shop is both charming and tempting. I couldn’t resist purchasing a cat mug and a cat magnet. While slightly on the pricier side, the items are worth it, knowing they’re crafted with love and dedication.
As for the coffee, I tried their lavender matcha, which was a delightful fusion of flavors. The pastries were equally impressive, each bite a testament to their quality and freshness.
Though Curator Coffee is a little out of my way, it’s a visit I’ll fondly remember. The combination of excellent coffee, delicious pastries, and the allure of handmade pottery makes it a must-visit for those who appreciate the finer things in life. If I find myself in this part of town again, I’ll definitely stop by for another round of their...
