River City Lock & Key LLC — Local services in San Antonio

I called late last week to get prices from Blake. I went in after calling today to make sure they weren't too busy. There was a lady that was there at the desk when I went in. She was the owner's daughter I did not catch her name . I went in there with my 2 car keys to have them cut because I have to change out my CPU so the keys were already programmed. These days it's hard for people like me to feel appreciated anywhere that provides a service but this lady was so kind to me. She didn't even charge me for the job. I'm sure this is not always the case nor would I expect something for free but it is nice to sometimes have someone do something nice for no reason at all. Before I moved out of state years and years ago I used their service several times but I haven't used them in such a long time. I don't reccomend this bussiness to anyone. Blake, the technician, had told me a different price before starting the job. Then received a different total price. Beware... have the price check and written down before you take this service. Never again will use River City Lick and Key LLC.

Reply to your bussiness comment, I did ask what would be the total price. Service call was NEVER mention. If I would have know this then I would have gone with a regular lock smith bussiness. BTW, River City charges $95 for service call which was not in the detail of the receipt for anotherl receipt. Then you add it later and charge me for it for this service. Where is your price...

We had an awesome experience with River City Lock and Key! They rekeyed 5 doors, replaced a battery-operated code lock with a manual one, and made multiple keys for us all for under $340. Not only was the service and price great, but I love that their keys have their logo on them, which happens to be the San Antonio skyline!
