Grand Bay Plaza — Local services in San Carlos Park

We joined this San Carlos PLANET FITNESS location in 2018 and the previous owner Kris Glidden had a good thing going here. Great staff and the manager was on top of just about everything. The place was ALWAYS SUPER CLEAN and the machines and all other equipment were always running or immediately repaired when there was an issue. There was never a lack of paper towels, the venting was always dust free, there were NO ceiling tiles with tremendous amounts of water damage, the lights in any area were always running and the water fountain as well as the hydro-beds were always operating. I have already spoken to the new manager about a couple issues and now it’s been almost 4 months and instead of things improving more things are being neglected. What a shame. We only use this facility for 6 months a year & would appreciate going to a gym that is cared & looked after more than what the new management is doing. Maybe there is a big bonus if expenses are at a minimum, if that’s the case then the new manager will have a nice bonus coming her way. But then again, I’m only paying $25 a month, what’s...

They have a “professional “ lawn service to do the plaza, which is right next to a motor home neighborhood, and the lawn company mows every Sunday at 7 am on the dot. The only day of the week my family and I have to sleep in. I’ve never met a professional commercial company that mows on a Sunday morning. Let alone 7 am on the dot. I tried getting ahold of Publix multiple times to find out the lawn service name to get ahold of the owner. I don’t know what else to do. I just know it’s not right having a commercial property that is right next to a neighborhood be mowed at 7 am. Waking up babies and families on a godly day. How would you feel if your neighbors woke you up at 7 am mowing their lawn on a Sunday? Very very unprofessional. Disappointed with the way people run things. No respect for neighborhoods anymore. 41 is a wonderful, fast dining experience don't get me wrong, it still is a lovely choice and I've had many pleasant visits there but they do have a tendency to take awhile to deliver food to the table. This isn't too often so don't worry about that.
