Big 5 Sporting Goods — Local services in San Diego

Kids little league type of store that caters to parents of grade school kids equipment needs and basically that's it. Zero customer service, and I mean zero. They have guns though which is supremely awesome. Earns 1 star for shotgun , armed security sleeps in the tinted room adjacent.

Feels like 1985 when walking in the door for some reason. This store is set up pretty much for parents to go and get equipment for whatever new sports are signed up for. If i could give this store a zero star i would i stood there for 35 min to even be acknowledged about me waiting to get a shoe i wanted to try 2 different shoes the manager and another employee stayed at the register like the dam thing was going to fall apart and the 1 employee that was getting shoes didn't know what he was doing would come out with one shoe at a time and then could not find a single shoe i was looking for then i said hell with this im taking my business to another big 5 that will have there stuff together they need new management...

I took my grandboys ages 14 and 15 into the store to purchase football cleats. My 14 year wears a size 12WW. I'm not sure him many people wears that size but we couldn't find his size and none of the sales people were trying to help. They just kept saying "What you see is what we have." I feel like someone should have come over to help us or went into the back or checked their log scanner or something to try and help us.
