I signed up for lessons with Brandt after months and months of taking "classes" from YouTube University. YouTube is great but it's hard to know when you're making the right movements. Very often your body isn't doing what you think it's doing. Golf stopped being fun since I was struggling with the inconsistency.

After my first lesson with Brandt, he got me hitting the ball 20 yards further on each club. It's cliche, but we spent a good amount of time on set up/address. That went a long way. Again, you might feel your address is good, but having someone there who can point out tweaks here and there live is invaluable. Even when you're shown the right thing to do, your body will slowly start creeping back to old habits and doing things the "wrong way." Brandt is good at catching those things during the lesson. We also worked on the takeaway. A few tweaks got my swing to start working more consistently. I'm still a high handicapper but my swing is way more consistent and I'm having fun...

I originally booked three lessons with a friend and after the third lesson, it was a no brainer to book two more. After just two lessons, I felt like I had improved tenfold. Unlike a lot of other golf instructors I see out there, Brandt is kind, patient, and helps you work on what you (specifically) need to improve on. He is flexible and able to accommodate with your busy schedule. Between lessons, I was able to send him videos of my swing and he would respond with an entire video explaining what I should focus on when practicing....
