Always have an absolutely fantastic experience with Melody. I have been getting my hair cut with Melody for the past 5 or so years. Melody speaks both Korean and Chinese fluently (and English of course) so you can get the exact style you want. My hair is black and straight; most times I get a mid-length cut with layers (pics 1, 2, 5) which comes out to around $50-60 as of 2024 and once I got a perm which I absolutely loved ($300). The perm is shown in the collage (6th pic: from top to down and left to right: before, during, right after, and a few hours after; and 7th pic). The perm lasted 1.5 years and still looked fresh (3rd pic is around the 1 year mark, 4th pic is after I got a cut after the 3rd pic, 8th pic is around 1.5 years); it would have lasted longer if my hair hadn't all grown...

She is very nice and a very skilled, patient, caring and experienced trilingual hairdresser with experience in Korea, China and the U.S. She saved my hair, and even spent more than half an hour to teach me how to style my new female pixie cut. I asked her whether I should do hair straightening, and she said later on, due to concerns of damage of hair. She truly cares about how her client looks, and treat you like a family. She has recently moved from Convoy to Escondido, and she only does appointment. Be sure to call or text her first to schedule, and don’t hesitate because she is very approachable and timely. I had an amazing experience at K’s Salon! Melody was incredibly sweet and accommodating. Her skills and attention to detail really stood out, she listened closely to my requests and delivered exactly what I had in mind.
