I am absolutely appalled by the way I was treated at Air Track Park Clairemont during my child's birthday party. What should have been a joyful celebration turned into one of the most humiliating experiences of my life, all due to the unprofessionalism and complete lack of customer service from the management.
From the start, there were issues with the staff not providing the assistance we needed. When we calmly brought up our concerns, the manager in charge of birthdays immediately became defensive, unwilling to listen, and instead escalated the situation. Rather than addressing the problem, she took offense at our feedback, shutting down all communication—right in the middle of our child’s birthday party.
In an effort to de-escalate the situation, a guest lightly placed their hand on the manager’s shoulder to calm her down—something most people would see as a gesture of reassurance. Instead, she accused us of violating her personal space and made a massive scene. Instead of diffusing the situation or handling it professionally, she made us feel like we were in the wrong for simply trying to explain that one of our guests was upset.
But the worst part? After this ridiculous overreaction, I have now been banned from the facility. Banned. As a 46-year-old mother of three, I have never been treated with such disrespect and humiliation in my life. I came back later to attend another child’s birthday party—a party I had nothing to do with—only to be denied entry. Imagine standing there, in front of other parents and children, being told you’re not allowed inside because of a completely mishandled incident that never should have escalated to this point in the first place.
This place is a joke when it comes to customer service. The way they handle issues is completely unprofessional, and rather than making things right, they choose to ostracize and embarrass parents. If you’re looking for a venue that actually cares about its customers, where management takes responsibility instead of throwing tantrums, I strongly urge you to take your business elsewhere.
Air Track Park Clairemont has made it clear that they do not value or respect their customers. I would never recommend this place to anyone after this experience, and I sincerely hope management takes a hard look at how they treat paying customers before more families are subjected to the same...
Read moreSoooooo here's my take on this Airtrack park. We probably have been here over 5 times in the last month and this is what I noticed. I've gone both on the weekend and the weekday(Wednesday-half day for my son), I prefer the weekday less kids more of a calmer setting. You can feel the AC pumping nice throughout the park. Weekends are freaking crazy. It's hotter than shit in that place bc of all the people. Way too many kids and not enough parents watching there kids! My 8 year old son was playing Dodge ball and there were a few bigger kids playing and that was fine but there was a grandpa who was there and he had this Dennis the menace looking grandson who was about 9 yrs old and they were throwing the balls kind of hard at some of the kids..I sat and watched first hand. The 1st time my son got hit it was fine thought he was gonna cry but he didn't he looked at me I said ur fine he kept playing but the 2nd time he got hit in the face so I got up and I told everyone in that Dodge ball game to stop throwing the ball above peoples waist, don't throw at anyones face simply throw the ball down below. I didn't cuss I didn't say it rudely. Mind you the staff that work there are damn near kids so they really don't do much but walk around. It's too much older kids that play rough with each other that makes it uneasy for the little kids to play. Then you got the ball pit for the babies. I assumed there play time is at a different time but no they mix in with the older kids so now u got babies to adults playing in the park all at the same time. That's a huge down fall for me. Don't be surprised if u get cussed out or id ur kid does when there here cuz it will happen. Suggest bring water bottles. Everything is way...
Read moreThis was my 3rd time at AirTrak. I booked a birthday room (Gold Package) for my son's birthday. It was a big hit! My package was for 10 kids (additional kids cost extra per kids aka jumper), one 28 inch pizza, private room, its decorated with their colors so green and black. They provide all the cups, napkins, plates and utensils. They also give out party favors even though i brought my own. They also provide a Birthday Host/Coordinator. SHOUT OUT TO DORA AND VALERIE! These ladies were truly amazing service and made my experience super smooth and less stressful. They helped me carry things to the room, helped me decorate and helped me coordinate all the kids and guests, cut the cake and helped me serve the food. Give these girls a raise! The kids had a blast and I like this places because parents can participate and they have an area for even smaller kiddos. My son loves it - we will be coming back for more fun! Staff was wonderful and we all had a blast! I will say the only critique I have to this place is there is no elevator or escalator. Its only 2 stories but its a bit inconvenient if your a person who cannot physically walk upstairs and/or you have a lot of things to bring up (i.e. an ice chest with drinks)...
