Overall not a bad meal, but nothing that made me want to share with everyone i know. The portions are pretty large; every dish we got is made to be shared. Between 3 people we had a lot of left overs.
The japchae was one of the highlights of the meal as they were well seasoned and not too greasy as that's been an issue at other restaurants.
The bulgogi wings are good, tasty, sticky, and enough we had about half left.
The potstickers weren't anything amazing. Incredible large where I just had to hold it with me hand and sauce to dip was lacking compared to others.
Bibimbap is a massive serving! There was plenty to go around and to also take to go.
We did get an order of the soft tofu soup and while it is seafood it is an overwhelming taste and smell of it. So much it kind of was inedible which is unfortunate of the cost and size to waste.
Overall a big area this is offers karaoke rooms which aren't as sound proof as I would've expected. They have a call button for each table which is nice to only call over when you actually needed them.
Again the pricing really only justified the portions and not so much the flavor, but I'm not entirely dissatisfied. It was still a...
Read moreKorean BBQ pictures in the online menu are wrong! They're from the restaurant next door 😭 there's no "all you can eat". We still stayed to eat though since it was the only place open until 2am. Big plus!
I forgot to take a picture, so I screenshot my IG story to show the portion size. I'd say it's pretty big, and most plates are meant for sharing.
The food was good, however it was very hearty and rich, both me and my partner could only eat a little bit of each thing otherwise it was too savory to eat a whole portion of anything, even the Bulgogi beef! Too sweet in my opinion, almost caramelized. The Bulgogi Chicken was a little less "caramelized" but still very sweet.
Pictured is the Korean Omelette, we didn't expect the size to be that big! It tasted great!
We also ordered the Seafood Pajun, very crunchy and very hearty, maybe a little too much. It was a good experience to try it, but I wouldn't order it again.
The music was too loud, we just ate a bit and decided to get our food to go instead. Very clubby vibe! Not for us. Good service though!
7/10 interesting experience, probably...
Read moreHad a fun time with a large group of 13 people. We rented karaoke room #2 ($60/hr with 3hr max) and ordered food and drinks for the group to share. The portions are LARGE and definitely could be easily shared between 2-3 people. We had steamed dumplings, fried rice, spicy shrimp, chicken bulgogi, french fries, spicy parmesan fries, fried chicken, calamari, chicken wings and a couple of other sharable dishes. With individual drinks, a bottle of Chardonnay and a large bottle of Maker's Mark, the total bill was $1,050.00 (after tax and tip), so it wasn't cheap. The only knocks on the restaurant are two things: 1) karaoke machine and song selection device was entirely in Korean.. if we didn't have a native speaker in the group we would have been lost, and 2) the wait staff - while friendly - screwed up our order on 3 different things even though we wrote it down and reviewed it with them. They corrected the errors eventually but it did take time and we had to follow up to make sure the fixes were done. All in all, we had a great time, and while expensive, we would...
