Went there with family - there were 5 of us, and we booked 1 lane for 2 hours. About an hour in, one of my sisters rolled the ball, and the arm came down to re-set the pins came down before her ball got to the pins, leaving her ball in the gutter just in front of the pins. No one had hit the re-set button - it just came down on its own. Her husband went to the desk, and after a few minutes got someone to listen to him. In the mean time, another sister tried rolling another ball down go get the first one out of the gutter... and the arm came down again, blocking that one, so that now there were 2 balls in the gutter. A brother went to the desk, and they said they'd re-set the thing, and un-block the lane. Instead, the scorekeeping software re-set the game (in the middle of the 10th frame, so only 1 of us knew their final score), and just started setting pins, knocking them down, over and over. A third person went to the desk, and someone finally came out and cleared the gutter, but by then the scorekeeping software had recorded 2 full frames for the 5 of us as 0/0, and it wold not allow us to start a new game. Then, an hour into the 2 we'd booked, the message came up "nearing the end of paid time." So the 4th of us went and complained, and they apologized and turned that message off, but we still could not start a new game. Then (yes, it goes on) every time the first sister (4th in the rotation) came up, it would allow her to bowl once, and then instead of allowing her to try for a spare, it re-set the pins and moved on to bowler #5. We complained a lot about this, and they did nothing. A really...
Read moreBeen here since a kid. I would go in the mornings if I want fresh oiled lanes I go in the morning for $1.50 games or. 99cent games Sundays. And Monday thru Thursdays there's details from 9pmto closing. Employees are great and go at least 30minutes early to get late night deals and pick a number.
Many memories here.
Do beware of you are not a league player if your ball gets jammed in the pin setter. They won't reimburse you. But I got free resurfacing, wax and others things. I would not go here to get your ball drilled. Messed up multiple times.
I got alone sometimes before the pandemic. To practice and always meet new people.
Or go with a big group and buy 3 lanes for the special.
It's a little run down but they do there best to upkeep the place. It's been here forever! I got a 279 here and many employees made me feel great about it.
Food is actually pretty dam good especially the curly fries. And alcohol is on a rotating cycle for deals.
Arcade for how small it is has two pool tables and variety of games and pretty cheap.
Only thing I could be negative about is smoking should be at least 30 feet from entrance and be more strict about people bringing vapes indoor nitotine and Marijuana pens. Or maybe have some tables outside so people can eat food they bring because outside food isn't allowed which I understand.
Extra:they keep everyone who hit a 299or 300 in league posted on the elevated wall pretty much forever. I've seen it grow over 2 decades. It's pretty amazing and the owner has tons...
Read moreThey have a bowling league that goes until 9:30pm; however, they still offer limited open bowling until then. Long story short— they had multiple lanes open right next to each other but the old lady didn’t want to rent them to us. They mad multiple more lanes open on the far end of the bowling alley but she told us to wait 1.5 hours until the league ended instead.
We decided to wait and spent our time in the arcade. That’s where it gets worse! Literally every game is a complete rip off and the pool tables are grimy and gross!
Here are specific examples. #1The basketball shot arcade game have the basketballs pumped up so high that after you shoot the ball it bounces and bounces and bounces and bounces so much that you only get a few shots off. #2The air hockey table has some weird puck that flies off the table with almost every shot. You spend more time picking up the puck and looking for it, than you do actually playing the game. #3 The crane games are so unbelievably rigged! There’s a normal amount that you’d expect, but here on these machines the toys are stuffed in so tight that even if the crane wanted to be strong enough to actually pick one up there is no way it could. You can easily tell by seeing all of these stuffed toy heads sticking up with no bodies. Perfectly rigged, good job! #4 the ping pong table is so extremely lob-sided that it has to be a practical joke.
I could go on, but needless to say this is the worst bowling place I’ve ever seen....
