Hubby and i decided to come here for lunch on Saturday with the kids, as we were out and about in the shopping plaza. First of all, the floor was disgusting. My shoes would not stop sticking to it. That means that they don't clean the floor or the restaurant I'm guessing. Tables were sticky, dirty, and had buts of food or sauce on them. I had to use some napkins and water to clean ours up. The food: Hubby ordered the bbq chicken mini and I ordered a garlic chicken mini. I was really looking forward to mine. Boy was I disappointed and unhappy. My so called"garlic chicken" turned out to be chicken katsu dipped in some kind of spring roll sauce. Like the thai lumpia sweet and spicy sauce. No hint or taste of garlic anywhere on the chicken. And I guess mine doesn't qualify for the cabbage salad or whatever that's usually included. Hubby's did have his though. Hubby's BBQ chicken was pretty bland with barely any"bbq" taste to it. He even got some sauce for us to try and we were shocked. The "teriyaki sauce" tasted gross. It had this weird alcohol pad taste to it and was extremely watered down. If you've ever had watered down soy sauce you'll understand what I mean. And just like a lot of reviews showed pics of the giant pieces of skin, ours was the same. we ended up eating the chicken, some of the rice and mac salad, and tossed the rest. I guess coming from San Jose where we had excellent Hawaiian BBQ from Ono Hawaiian bbq, we've been kind of spoiled. Definitely not going back, but as we were curious to try it, we now know.

Went there for some Hawaiian comfort food. Thought I would try the bulgogi fries since I had never heard of it before until that day. Bulgogi fries is a loaded French fries dish with bulgogi (Korean-style grilled marinated sliced beef), cheese, hot sauce, and green onion. If you like loaded fries, carne asada fries, etc., then you might like this fries dish. I, however, found my order to be on the salty side and the marinade was very thick which made it difficult to eat. I like other types of loaded fries but I'm not sure if I would order this kind again in the future. Try it out if you want something different.

I'm completely obsessed with this food! So far i've loved everything I've tried; the bbq chicken, bbq beef, Kalbi ribs, and Huli Huli chicken. The Huli Huli and Kalbi may be my favorite if I was forced to choose. The chicken is made with dark meat so just be aware of that if it's not your thing. The flavors are incredible and on top of that the prices are awesome! I chose a plate that comes with rice and macaroni salad and a bunch of meat that lasted for more than one meal's worth. I will definitely be ordering from here a LOT for the unforeseeable future :)

Went there just a few weeks ago. Had a urge for Hawaiian food. My last visit to this place was a Grubhub nightmare disaster. But this visit was nothing like the last. Got myself a great lunch/dinner combo plate with these fantastic Onion rings. These Onion Rings are absolutely the best ones I've ever had. And I love my Onion Rings, so that should tell you something. Got the Combo plate it was enought for two meals. I saw some of the other reviews, they were commenting on the meat, it's to chewy, or poor quality, well I personally did not experience any of that. My ribs were excellent, great flavor and excellent quality. People do listen to our reviews. I loved my meal and the service at the front counter was top notch. And remember you always get a little better service when you see a TIP JAR and show your appreciation and drop a little something in. I recommend this clean little restaurant tucked back in the Mall. It's worth the walk for...

Ordered the bbq beef bowl.

This good was very poor. Primarily just white rice. Vegetables were passable, but mostly cabbage and zucchini. On top was a small portion of pretty gross beef. It was very cheap meat with a lot of gristle. Overcooked to a tough texture. Very poorly sauced- like someone had just thrown on a spoonful at the end. Pretty average sauce, but it was better than the meat- unfortunately there wasn’t enough of it to hide the beef.

This was the type of dish that makes you wonder why they even have it on the menu, since they seem to hate making it.

I can’t bring myself to give a 1 star review, since I’m sure someone in the kitchen had to put in some level of effort. But this was a waste of money and has nothing to...
