It was an interesting experience... my first time trying them. I went because the reviews were great. Overall, the salon staff is friendly with their customers and they take customer service very seriously... I wanted hard gel/builder gel without the tips, but was getting convinced to get tips or acrylics. Seemed like they did not want to do builder gel; they did do it, but it did not look good, uneven with bubbles. I was not happy. Jenny offered to redo, which I appreciated, and even moved an appointment around to accommodate ... however, I spent almost 4.5 hours in the salon.. I also don't understand how one charges for shaping of nails... if they are either square or round - basic shapes...I did not ask for anything fancy... I still considered giving them another try for when I needed a fill, because of how they fixed my nails to ensure I left happy... but now I don't plan to do so, its only been 1.5 weeks, and 5 of my nails are lifting, my hair is snagging and 2 were lifting entirely and had to be taken off. After dropping over $120 on a mani pedi, I expected them to last at least 4 weeks, like my previous hard gel manis have lasted before a fill. This is very...
Read moreI found the Nail Spot by asking women with cool, top-notch nails where they got their nails done and, now that I go there, I'm the one being complimented on my nails and asked where I go!
Everyone at the shop is wonderful, talented, and fun and they all do great work! Nicky has been doing my gel nails for me, and she totally understood my wants (fun and sparkly colors) and needs (short nails for typing) from day one.
Everyone who comes in, from new walk-ins to regulars, is treated with kindness and care, enjoys their time at the shop, and leaves a happy customer.
Add to this convenient hours of operation and great prices, and it's no wonder it's so popular and comes highly recommended! The Nail Spot is...
Read moreI want to give 0 stars. I rarely say something terrible about someone... I'm about to go on vacation, and I wanted new designs for my manicure. I went in for mani piedi, and I came out regretting that I didn't keep the manicure that I had done two weeks ago. For the pedicure, it's even worse. They decided to do gel, and since I refused, they made it difficult and found an excuse for every color I chose, saying that color was gel. Also, I can't understand how it is possible not to be able to shape nails the same way. All my nails look weird and have different shapes (10 toenails, 10 shapes). Last but not list, I can't figure out how $65 + $55 =$157 non including tips. It's the worst nail salon I've...
