Barons Market Rancho Bernardo — Local services in San Diego

This is one of my favorite places to shop! They have a nice selection of organic health foods, plenty of fresh fruits and vegetables, as well as a soup and salad bar! Their pre-made and packaged sandwiches are awesome and always taste fresh! They have a huge selection of beer and wine and carry a lot of special, unique items that you don't often find anywhere else.

They also recently redid their bathrooms. They always had clean bathrooms, but now not only are they clean but they are very nice.

The staff is always super friendly and happy to help. I've never once had a bad experience here since I've started shopping here a couple years ago.

If you like Trader Joe's or Sprouts, do yourself a favor and get to Barons Market, the local choice. Barons trys harder to give you more clean food choices. None of these guys are the cheapest - the big box guys and the national retailers win that competition on the brands they carry. Barons gives you products that are excellent, often organic, locally baked, brewed, or grown. You'll find excellent lunch options at the salad bar and specialty bar. The staff are hustling young people determined to make your shopping experience positive and fruitful - pun intended. Try it out, you may really like it. Parking is convenient but can get congested at peak hours - but a little more walking in your life is a good...

Love the people, love the product, love the prices! I can't rant enough of how wonderful every Baron's location is, especially the Rancho Bernardo store. Enjoy a custom salad at the pay by pound salad bar including everything you can imagine (kale, spinach, beets, beans, quinoa, chicken, Persian cucumbers, tomatoes, feta, parmesan, walnuts, 6+ dressings, etc) - delicious and always fresh!
